Tuesday 8thSeptember 2026 social bowls
Splendid sunny 19 degrees weather saw 30 participants play two games on our club’s carpet green. There were two unbeaten teams which were skippered by Steve Cutting and Wayne Williams. The number 71 on the wheel was superb news for Wayne’s side which featured lead John Coffee and second Brian Pascoe. The consolation spin fell neatly for Zac Weekes and Bob Sultana who received some compensation after an unsuccessful time on the green. Kay Burns and Noel Lane attained one resting toucher each while Charlie Sultana mixed up his second last delivery of the afternoon to launch one wrong bias bowl.
