One of the best day the Napredak club holds is the Alan Treganowan Shield

Alan Treganowan Shield
24/9/2022 11.00am start.
3 player team event
Handicap format round robin, team must pre-nominate. Maximum 16 teams.
Nomination fee $30 per team must be pre-paid non-refundable.

3 player teams**.
2 balls per player.
Double points until grand final, grand final single points .
First to 12 points.

Handicap conditions*
The Alan Treganowan Shield is a round robin competition including teams from the regular season
across all divisions.
*teams will be handicapped on what division the team is currently assigned, Div1 will received a 0 point handicap, Div 2 will received a 2 point handicap, Div 3 will received a 4 point
handicap, and Div 4 will received a 6 point handicap. Teams will be ranked by a ladder for each group and receive 2 points for a win. After all group matches have been played the top two teams
with the most points from each group will advance, if 2 or more teams cannot be separated by points, game score percentage will be used to determine which team will progress, if teams still tied,
A one end sudden death will be played to determine who will progress. All points will be recorded.
The Knock out stage will be played as traditional first to 12 points game. The 4/8 top ranked teams will
play the 2nd ranked teams in a traditional knock out format (8,4,2,1).
teams will be shuffled so every team has opponent they have not played.
**A team can play with only 2 players, but must surrender 1 ball for every end, 1 player can use 3
balls and the other player 2 balls. Player borrowing is allowed to make a team of three providing the player dose not play in a team below the regular division they play (i.e. Div 1 player can only play in a Div 1 team, but a Div 2 Player can play in a Div 1 team etc...). Handicaps are not changed with player
borrowing.

It’s on again Bocce and Burger Night
Since we had such a good response last time, we are going again
5th August 2022 Club open from 5.30pm
Come on down and enjoy doubles knock out bocce and a delicious burger
Please express interest in the comments or on the notice board at the club to assist with catering
$15.00 pp includes bocce and burger.
We will be playing the Legends Trophy KO Doubles completion.
