It’s that time of year again where our incredibly hard working committee are well into preparing for the next edition of the Brogo Bass Bash.

2026 marks the 26th Bass Bash and the continuation of a stocking program that extends back over 30 years!

This stocking program has helped create one the best Bass fisheries in the state and we are currently seeking expressions of interest from businesses who may be interested in sponsoring the event, getting their logo on our tournament shirt and contributing to growing this amazing little fishery for generations to come.

Although the fishing was the toughest it has been in many years the company was great, the food was awesome and the laughs were non stop!

A huge thank you to the committee for all their hard work throughout the year and across the weekend and of course to all our amazing sponsors both new and old for their support in raising funds to continue the development of this awesome fishery!

To our competitors, thank you for coming and supporting the event and we can’t wait to see you all back again next year!

Also, we have a competitor that has lost a case full of Makita batteries over the weekend. If anyone has seen or knows the whereabouts of this box please get in contact with us so we can reunite them with their owner!!

This time next week we will be right in the middle of this years monster raffle and someone will be trying their best to keep themselves from being brought undone by the Basstard Cup in the hopes of a solid second day on Sunday and a good shot at claiming this years Champion Team award sponsored by Bermagui Beach Hotel
