Incredible to be back in a kart again after so long away. First race back for nearly 3 years, never driven the track, never driven the kart, and we got a class victory in a 6hr event!

Massive shout-out to Wayne Rogers for providing a weapon of a kart and giving me the opportunity to jump back into the seat, Neil Pollard for being an incredible team mate, and Trackside Motorsport for a great job on prepping the kart.

But best of all, it was AWESOME to catch up with some mates I hadn't seen in person since pre COVID. The result was just a bonus!

Had the pace to win it, a few niggling issues held us back a bit, but 8hrs of very up and down racing later, and we got another podium! Feel like we worked for this one!

~ SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ~

I've just got word of a kart becoming available for the last TEKA (endurance karting) round in a few weeks at Orange (9th November). Apparently a very competitive kart and the seats are going for a really good price. A great way to come and try a really fun and cost effective form of motorsport. Tonnes of seat time and driving for the price!

Excited to officially be joining Maverick Kart for the last round of the TEKA Championship at Orange Kart Club in a few weeks. The plan is to do one better than last time out! 😁🤞

First ever endurance meeting and we're taking home some silverware! 2nd in class and 9th overall (out of 26 total entries). I am absolutely BUGGERED, but a dream result for the first time out!
