Last night, The Nest Effect Podcast host Antoine Vidal and his wife Amanda Vidal attended a special event at Parliament House, alongside athletes, business leaders, community changemakers, and passionate supporters committed to shaping the future of Australian sport.

The official event was hosted by The Hon. Milton Dick MP , and made even more memorable with an exclusive tour of the Speaker’s Office and official dining room.

In just three years, The WattleNest has grown from a passionate idea into a powerful movement, now supporting more than 160 athletes across 50+ sports. Together, we’ve invested over $1 million directly into athlete development, connection programs, and real opportunity pathways.

But this is only the beginning.

With Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games on the horizon, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure no athlete is left behind — regardless of background, postcode, or financial circumstances.
