Before you read this, I know this topic could bring up feelings for some of you men and honestly, I completely understand because only a few years ago, I was there myself.
Everyone heals differently and in their own time. But for me personally, letting go of resentment and focusing on the women in my world that I love and care about changed my life massively. Being open to connection, support and lifting each other up instead of staying stuck in anger has genuinely made my life so much better.
So if this post brings something up for you, please know it comes from a good place because I genuinely want the best for you.
And if this message resonates with you, especially the image, please share it. I think the world needs more of this.
I truly believe men and women are more similar than we know.
Most of us want to be great parents, great partners, great friends, good leaders, contribute to our communities and build a meaningful life.
We are stronger together.
Similar values.
Similar missions.
Just because you may have had a bad interaction or relationship with the opposite s*x, or read something negative online, doesn’t mean that is the narrative.
Every person is unique and every person has the potential to add value to someone else’s life.
I have a daughter and a partner who I want the absolute best for and because of that I need to be an advocate for them. And I know in return they are for me.
I want my son to see the example I set because I know he can grow into an incredibly loving, respectful and strong man.
At the end of the day, the world needs more good humans.
More understanding.
More communication.
More support.
More people willing to lead with love instead of division.
With love and good intentions always,
Stephen
