Sunny Coast is done! No 4 hour brick session this Saturday! 

But the fun always continues, 7 weeks until Noosa and one CLTC member has just discovered there’s a hill to climb there 😂 Gateway repeats on Thursday in her honour.

Sunny Coast is this weekend!! Good luck to the racing crew, we’ll all be cheering you on!! 

Not a change this week but from next week, we’re going to be adding a Gateways repeats rotation to Thursday mornings. This gives the wind trainer crew a chance to practice some hills in a controlled environment, and Nathan a chance to make sure the road riding crew are actually working hard on Thursday morning (not that’s there any chance we’ve been enjoying chatty Thursday morning rides lol).

Race season is approaching at an alarming rate. 😬

If your winter training mostly involved thinking about training, please accept this as your friendly reminder that it may be time to start again. Or if you’ve entered a race and it’s suddenly dawning you don’t know anything about triathlon, we’ve got great coaches and supportive members to get you to the start line.

First up is Moreton Bay QTS on 27 September—our 2026 Queensland Club Championships! Let’s get plenty of CLTC colours onto the course. 🖤🧡🖤

Then it’s:
🏊 All Schools Kawana — 10–11 October
🚴 Raby Bay QTS — 11 October
🏃 Pottsville Tri — 24–25 October
🌴 Noosa Tri — 1 November
☀️ Kingscliff Tri — 22 November

What’s on this week? 
* Sunny Coast swim/run on the race course. It’s definitely getting real now! 
* Kawana Community Aquathlon. Great opportunity to race at the All Schools location ahead of the event! 
* All the usual training fun. As of this week, race season starts THIS month so it’s a great time to get started or get back into it.
