Voice of a Carer . 365CareAbbey Voice of a Carer is the journey of Tennille as mother to a beautiful young lady and finding herself again Abbey was born with a rare gene mutation call CDKL5.

Abbey is a my daughter, she is a bright and giggly 18 year old young woman. She loves socialising, providing life changing advice, cuddles and swimming. This gene mutation causes uncontrolled seizures, cerebral palsy, vision impairment, developmental disabilities. For Abbey it has given her all of these things, along with a low immune system, allergies and anything else we discover along our journ

ey with her. We are hoping with our challenge to share a photo-a-day for one year, will help others connect, understand and accept the world we live in. Being a full time carer impacts upon all aspects of my life, from my relationship with Abbey to my ability to pursue my own dreams. Please share with your friends, comment and join us.
