This year, Souths Sunnybank is proud to celebrate Women in League Round, recognising the incredible women who have helped build our club and our game.
Women in League celebrates the players, coaches, trainers, referees, volunteers, committee members, mums, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and supporters who keep rugby league thriving. For almost 60 years, women have been at the heart of Souths Sunnybank.
To honour their contribution, we've designed a special purple jersey in line with the official NRL Women in League colours. Our goal is to have as many teams as possible wear these jerseys during the round.
We're inviting local businesses and supporters to sponsor a team. The cost is $35 per player, with sponsorship tailored to each team's numbers. For example, sponsoring a team of 15 players would cost $525. To make it even more accessible, sponsorship can be shared between two businesses, reducing the cost while giving both sponsors the opportunity to have their logos proudly displayed on the jerseys.
Whether you sponsor a whole team or share the cost with another local business, every contribution helps us celebrate the women who have shaped Souths Sunnybank for almost 60 years.
