I have a confession: When I first opened the studio, I skipped the Ladder Barrel. 🙈
When I started out, I skipped it because everyone said it was “just for stretching.”
But here’s the truth:
1️⃣ It’s NOT just passive stretching. The original repertoire requires serious core strength, control, and spinal articulation.
2️⃣ Even if it were just stretching... it’s the best damn stretch of your life. You literally cannot replicate the support of this barrel curve in a Reformer-only studio.
My clients are now showing up 10 minutes early just to use it. If you’re skipping the barrel, you’re missing out.
