How good was Saturday mornings weather!

I love the calm before a northerly change, the mulloway always seem to chew. Especially as we enter into spring.

We spot hopped a few wrecks before finding a nice school.

My son managed to get 2 new PBs this morning, firstly an 83cm fish and then a 110cm the next cast. We were stoked!

Sharks gave us a break for a change, but I suspect they won't be too far away.

Both fish were caught on a 45g jig, dropped into a school of fish we sounded up on sidescan.

I really hope we get more weather windows this spring, this time of the year on the water is magic!

Interesting to note - the fish chewed just as the barometer peaked, before the drop with the northerly.

This lure is causing all sorts of chaos in the US. I'm seeing all sorts of comments, videos and podcasts about how its selling like no other lure has before.

If true - that is quite a big deal!

Will we see the same craziness in Australia?

We already use a lot of creature style baits for Bream. So I can see it being used in that context. But on our Barra, Bass, Mulloway, Snapper and other predatory species? A few months ago I would have said no way, but given how it has unfolded overseas, maybe...

Time to stock up? Or wait and see?
