ROUND 7 RESULTS

A mixed bag of results this weekend, but plenty to be proud of across the club.

Our U11 Mixed team produced their best performance of the season with a strong 88-44 victory over Moggill. James and Rohan were outstanding, while Hayden and Ezekiel earned this week's Milkshake Moments.

Our U11 Girls battled hard in wet conditions against a strong Yeronga outfit. Claire got the Ravens on the scoreboard, and the team's tackling effort never dropped away despite the challenging conditions.

The U8 Ravens Derby was everything it should be, lots of smiles, great sportsmanship and plenty of fun. Footy was the real winner!

We're officially at the halfway point of the 2026 season!

This weekend we welcome the Ipswich Eagles and Moggill Mustangs to the Ravens Nest for the first time, while our U8 Blue and U8 Yellow teams go head to head in an exciting 𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐲.

TRAINING CANCELLED

Unfortunately, due to the weather and ground conditions, all Ravens training is cancelled today.

Stay safe, stay dry, and hopefully the weather clears so we can get back out there this weekend for Round 7 footy!

ROUND 6 RESULTS

A tough weekend on the scoreboard, but plenty to be proud of across our U11 teams.

Our U11 Girls took on a strong Wests Juniors outfit on Friday night. After a challenging start, the girls dug in and produced a tremendous defensive effort, holding Wests scoreless through the middle stages of the game and refusing to give up. Claire got the Ravens on the scoreboard, while Brooke and Bronte joined Claire in earning this week's milkshake moments for their outstanding efforts.

Our U11 Mixed side went down to Greenbank Giants in a physical contest. Goals to Speedy and Rohan kept the Ravens in the fight, but Greenbank proved too strong on the day. While the result didn't go our way, we never stopped competing and will bounce back stronger. Milkshake moments this week went to Tom and Sam H for their strong performances and willingness to put their bodies on the line for the team.

Footy has a funny way of keeping us humble. Some weeks everything clicks, other weeks you learn a few lessons. What matters most is how we respond and we know our Ravens will be ready to go again next week.

What a fantastic evening at Rochedale as Brisbane Lions forward Logan Morris joined our Under 8 Ravens for a special training session.

The kids were hanging on every word, soaking up tips from one of the game's brightest young stars before getting the chance to train alongside him. For many of our young players, this will be a memory they'll carry with them for years to come.

Logan has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting key forwards in the AFL, but what impressed us most was the way he gave his time so generously to every child, answering questions, sharing stories and making everyone feel part of the experience.

A huge thank you to Logan for being such a genuine champion and role model. We can't wait to watch you do your thing this weekend, and hopefully there's a bag of goals coming your way!

We'd also like to thank Michelle from Bespoke Packaging for sponsoring the session and helping make opportunities like this possible for our Ravens families.

Our U11 Girls are at home on Friday night as they take on Wests at Rochedale.

On Saturday, all of our mixed teams hit the road for a big day of away games across SEQ.

After a few weather related false starts, we're excited to finally welcome Brisbane Lions young gun Logan Morris to Rochedale tomorrow night!

Logan will be joining our U8 Ravens for a special training session, giving our younger players the chance to learn from one of the AFL's rising stars and hear about his journey to the top level.

Opportunities like this don't come around often, and we can't wait to see the smiles on the kids faces.
