A simple dream can make a world of difference.

For Rachel, a new phone means staying connected to family, finding comfort during treatment, and holding onto precious moments that matter most.

We’re proud to support Dreams2Live4 as the official charity partner of Run The River. Their work brings hope and joy to Australians living with metastatic cancer when they need it most.

Rachel is a 27-year-old living with relapsed lymphoma and all the long treatment sessions that go with it. During those sessions she used to stream movies and shows, listen to podcasts, take photo's of her pets and Face Time her family to pass the time on her phone, but has been unable to do that since it broke.

Her dream may seem simple – to have a new iPhone, but we understand the financial pressure that cancer places on people and the importance of being able to stay connected.

“Prior to my phone breaking, a FaceTime call was the last time I got to see my grandfather before he passed away” said Rachel.

Dreams can be practical or dreams can be abstract – whichever way it is, gifts to Dreams2Live4 helps patients focus on something other than their cancer.

Thank you, Dreams2Live4, for the incredible work you do helping people living with metastatic cancer turn their dreams into reality.

Our dreamer Stuart is a dad of three young kids, 7, 5 and 2.5 years old. He is also living with advanced cancer. His dream was unique and heartfelt – he wanted to hold an Olympic medal in his hands.

Our Dream Makers set to work and contacted our valued supporter and corporate lunch host Peter Overton AM who immediately got in touch with his friend Steve Titmus sports presenter on Seven News Brisbane, and father to a multi-Olympic medal holder Ariarne Titmus OAM.

Steve Titmus kindly delivered some of Ariarne’s medals for Stuart and family to experience; and whilst there, Ariarne made a surprise FaceTime call to Stuart.

Stuart said “Seeing, holding, and wearing the medal let me indulge in a sports fantasy I’ve always had…imagining myself as an Olympic champion and the feeling of winning a gold medal for Australia.”
