WHAT MAKES PRIME DIFFERENT? 💚
You may have noticed something a little different about our new PRIME Fitness plate-loaded equipment…
Three numbered weight pegs. But what does each one do? 👀
PRIME’s unique 3-peg TorqueArm / SmartStrength system allows you to change the resistance profile of the exercise depending on where you load your plates.
In simple terms — you can change where in the movement the exercise feels hardest.
🟢 PEG 1 — MIDDLE PEG
Provides a relatively even, traditional resistance profile across the entire range of motion.
🟢 PEG 2 — BOTTOM / END PEG
Loads the end range of motion, making the exercise hardest at full contraction or lockout — the “squeeze.”
🟢 PEG 3 — TOP / BEGINNING PEG
Loads the beginning range of motion, making the exercise hardest in the stretched position.
And you don’t have to choose just one.
You can distribute your plates across different pegs to create different resistance profiles and tailor the machine to your training.
That’s one of the reasons we chose PRIME.
It’s not simply about adding more equipment to our floor — the brands and pieces we select matter. We want equipment that gives you more variety and more ways to get the most out of your training.
💡 Not sure where to start?
Start with Peg 1 — the middle peg — and get familiar with the movement.
The PRIME pieces are more advanced. If you’re unsure how to use it, please ask a team member or trainer for guidance. They can help you use it properly and get the most out of the machine.
And stay tuned — we’ll be sharing more tips and demonstrations on our new PRIME pieces so you can understand the technology and get the most out of every machine.
