It's a bit mucky, and a somewhat different landscape than the one we're used to, but hopefully we won't lose another Jeep while demarking the course this time around and we'll keep the kids out of the deep stuff!

It seems to have gone largely unnoticed by the running community, but this last week saw the passing of one of the most influential coaches of his and many others' generation.

There's nothing new under the sun yet there seems to be a never-ending crop of coaches espousing many methods and approaches as such, but along with contemporaries such as Hal Higdon, and the likes of Arthur Lydiard and Percy Cerutty that came before him, Jeff Galloway quite literally wrote the book.

The global running community lost its #1 ambassador yesterday with the death of Jeff Galloway, 80. He died in Pensacola, Florida, from complications of a

Susannah will be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to run a free track session at Jindalee Recreation Reserve.

I will be holding another free session 30th December at Jindalee Recreation Reserve (Jindalee Jags) at 5:30am.

The BVRT100s checkpoint matrix has been updated with the 100 and 200-mile cut-off schedule. We'll be adding the same for the 100km and 50-mile shortly.

Super early bird registrations end on December 31st.

I can't begin to explain how thoroughly Susannah has prepared before devoting more time to her coaching. It's how she goes about everything.

So here I am, I have created my coaching page and setting off on my new adventure! Although I have been coaching for a few years now, I am looking to further my reach and take it on as more than a 'serious hobby'

I love running, I love how it brings people together, I love how it makes people feel, I love that it grounds people, I love that it helps people in other aspects of their lives.

In the next few weeks, I will be getting a local track session organised in Jindalee. I hope that people nearby come and try it out. More on that later.
