DAY 6 SCHEDULE

Finals football has arrived at Nissan Arena, meaning we are only 7 matches away from determing the champion of the 2025 National Club Championships Powered by DaV'ange Group.

At 10 is the first semi final, with first seed Melbourne City Facing fourth seed Football St George. The second semi final follows, with second seed Newcastle Jets taking on third seed Strikers FC. The last game before lunch will be the 9th place playoff between Lions FC and Adelaide Comets. After lunch at 2pm will be Auckland FC facing Western Sydney Wanderers for 7th, before Sydney FC and Hills United face off for 5th. 4pm is the 3rd place playoff between the two losing teams in the semi finals, before a 5pm kick off for the grand final. Trophy presentations will follow the final on the show court, and we encourage all players and support staff to join us on court for this ceremony. As last year, there will be a players player vote occurring. The form for this will be distributed shortly.

DAY 5 TABLES

With the Group Stage in the books for the 2025 National Club Championships Powered by DaV'ange Group, we can now review the final standings in the lead up to the finals tomorrow at Nissan Arena.

Melbourne City are 10/10, having won every match played so far this week. The question is, can they make it 12/12? Newcastle Jets have dropped just 5 points and end the Group Stage in 2nd. Strikers FC enter the finals on a 6 game winning streak, scoring a total of 23 points to finish 3rd. Football St George are the last team in the final 4 with 22 points. Sydney FC fall short of returning to the finals for a second season, scoring 18 points to end 5th. Hills United do enough to finish 6th, one point ahead of Auckland FC. Western Sydney Wanderers found their second win of the week today, and in doing so they return to 8th place on 6 points. In doing so, they bump Lions FC back to 9th on 4 points. Adelaide Comets may have failed to score a goal in the league phase but certainly impressed with their determination in defence and improvement throughout the week.

DAY 5 SCHEDULE

The rest day is now over for the 2025 National Club Championships Powered by DaV'ange Group, meaning the players will all be ready to fire on all cylinders for the final two matches of the Group Stage.

Melbourne City face Hills United to open the action on the Show Court at 10am. Simultaneous with that game will be Adelaide FC facing Western Sydney Wanderers, who will be without Stephen Webb after accumulating too many Yellow Cards throughout the Group Stage. At 11am, Football St George face Auckland FC downstairs, and Sydney FC play Strikers FC upstairs. Lions FC play Newcastle Jets to round out the morning session.

An extended break will be followed by the final group game, which will be determined based upon the standings as at lunchtime tomorrow.

DAY 4 TABLES

The rest day has arrived and with that it means that there is only two group stage games remaining in the 2025 National Club Championships Powered by DaV'ange group at Nissan Arena. This is how the teams stand at the completion of 8 matches.

Melbourne City have taken a maximum 24 points, scoring 40 goals whilst only letting 5 past all week. Their spot in the final four is mathematically secured. Newcastle Jets sit 5 points adrift in second. Strikers FC sit third on 17 points, one above Football St George who currently hold the last ticket to the Semi-Finals. Sydney FC are only one point outside, but will be eager to capitalise on any mishaps from their rivals above. Hills United are on 10 points in 6th, and still hold a mathematical chance at qualifying for the finals, albeit slim. Auckland FC sit 7th on 9 points. Lions FC pick up their first win for the week and climb to 8th on 4 points. Western Sydney Wanderers fall to 9th with 3 points, and Adelaide Comets sit at the foot of the table.

DAY 4 SCHEDULE

We're now past the halfway point in the 2025 National Club Championships Powered by DaV'ange Group, so lets take a look at the all important schedule for tomorrow's action.

The Show Court will begin the day with three back to back grudge matches, with a Sydney Derby at 10am, a Battle of Brisbane at 11am, and a Top of the Table clash between Football St George and Melbourne City at Midday. Court 4 will see Newcastle Jets take on Hills United at 10am, and Auckland FC against Adelaide Comets at 11am.

Court 4's only match after lunch will be Lions FC against Adelaide Comets, with kick off occuring at 2pm. Simultaneous with that match on the Main Court will be Western Sydney facing Strikers FC. This will be followed by Football St George facing Hills United, then Newcastle Jets against Auckland FC, and finally Sydney FC taking on Melbourne City.

DAY 3 TABLE

The halfway point of the tournament has now been passed in the 2025 National Club Championships Powered by DaV'ange Group, and the race for the top 4 at Nissan Arena is now heating up.

Melbourne City continue their march at the top of the table, now perfect through six matches, although they faced some difficult battles today. Football St George and Newcastle Jets remain locked together 5 points off the lead, with the latter behind on goal difference. Those two hold off Sydney FC, Strikers FC and Hills United who have 12, 11 and 10 points collectively, meaning 5 teams are separated by 4 points, with only 3 spots in the finals to share between them. Auckland FC sit 7th on 6 points, whilst Western Sydney Wanderers snap a 5 game winless run to sit 8th on 3 points. Lions FC fall to 9th place on 1 point, and Adelaide Comets sit at the bottom of the ladder.

DAY 3 SCHEDULE

Day 3 sees the middle of the group stage of the 2025 National Club Championships Powered by DaV'ange Group, and these are the fixtures to look forward to.

Auckland FC will look to keep their forward momentum, with a 10am match against Western Sydney. Newcastle Jets and Football St George will battle on Court 4, in a game that may set the trajectory for who makes top 4 and who misses out. 11am sees Sydney FC face Lions FC on the Show Court, whilst Hills United face Strikers FC on court 4 in a crucial match for both teams. The morning session concludes with Melbourne City facing Adelaide Comets.

Lions FC will face Western Sydney on the Show Court at 2pm, whilst Sydney FC and Football St George will duke it out on Court 4. Melbourne City will play Newcastle Jets at 3pm on the Show Court, in a game which should prove incredibly exciting, whilst Strikers FC face Auckland FC on Court 4. The day will finish with Adelaide Comets and Hills United.
