Master the On-Drive 🔥⬇️
When the ball is full and targeting your front pad, a lot of batters make the mistake of taking too large a step. That often leaves them reaching, losing balance, and hitting the ball either too square, or in the air.
Instead, keep your stride very small and:
✅ Open the front foot so the toes point straight
✅ Get your head moving towards the ball
✅ Transfer your body weight through the line of the shot
By doing this, the ball becomes much easier to access. You can stay balanced, present more of the bat face, and let your body do the work rather than relying on your hands to manipulate the shot.
The result:
• Cleaner contact
• More control over direction
• Greater power with less effort
• No leading edges
• Less chance of hitting it in the air
Open up. Move into it. Hit through the line. 💥
