WELCOME TO THE BULLS, BEN! 🐂

We’re excited to welcome Ben Fitzpatrick to Bulimba as our new Director of Coaching & Player Development for 2027!

Ben brings a huge amount of coaching experience to the Bulls, having held a number of Queensland representative coaching roles over the past decade.

His coaching highlights include three National Championship-winning campaigns. Most recently leading the Queensland U18 Girls to an undefeated National Championship in Darwin this year, after coaching the U18 Boys to the title in Perth in 2025. He’s also toured internationally with the HQ Academy to Malaysia and New Zealand and was named Hockey Queensland’s High Performance Coach of the Year in 2025.

It’s not just Ben’s high-performance experience that makes him such a great fit for the Bulls. He spent more than 10 years as Coaching Director at Gympie Hockey, working with players and coaches from juniors right through to seniors and helping build strong development pathways across the region.

At Bulimba, Ben will work across the whole club to strengthen our coaching and player development pathways, with a focus on building depth through our juniors and into seniors.

We’re really looking forward to having Ben around the club and seeing what he can bring to our players and coaches.

🏆 BHL3 PREMIERS!

Our BHL3 boys took on Saints in the Grand Final and came away with a brilliant 4–2 victory to claim the gold! 🥇

With coach Nate leading the boys through this season and through an outstanding finals series, he managed to guide them all the way to Grand Final glory. Great skills, huge effort and plenty of Bulls fight when it mattered most.

Congratulations to the entire BHL3 squad on an incredible finals campaign and a hard fought premiership! 🐂 Up the Bulls

🏆🐂 A big night for the Bulls at the Masters Finals last night!

Our MM3 team were officially awarded their Minor Premiership after a fantastic season! 🥇

A huge congratulations to club legend Helen Allan, who took home the Best & Fairest for the entire MM4 division! 🌟 An incredible achievement and very well deserved!

We’re also very proud of Brittany Brusasco and Suellen Meara, who were named finalists for the MM1 and MM3 Best & Fairest awards respectively. 👏 Yeah the Bulls

2026 ML3 PREMIERS! 🏆

Yesterday our ML3s fought hard, digging deep to keep coming back to nab the gold against Pine Hills🥇A huge effort that perfectly summed up a season built on teamwork, commitment and playing for each other.

A massive congratulations to Anna Macdonald, who was named Player of the Match after a brilliant performance as well! Up the Bulls 🐂

10am tomorrow our ML3 crew are hitting the turf for their grand final on SHC1! 🐂🔥

These girls have brought the good vibes, big energy and plenty of laughs all season & they’re ready for one more run together.

Come down, get around the girls and help make some noise from the sidelines!

Whatever happens on the field, the team will be heading back to the Clubhouse to celebrate the season, and everyone is welcome to join! Just BYO drinks, eskies & good 🐂
