Edge Taekwondo

Edge Taekwondo Edge Taekwondo is a family friendly club in the Jidokwan tradition and the WT teaching traditional technique. We offer clases for all levels & ages.

Our clubs are located Brisbane, Australia. We practice the WT (World Taekwondo) style. We are members of 'Australian Taekwondo'. All our instructors and black belts have world recognised accreditation issued by the Kukiwon in Korea. Mr Alan Harlick (5thdan) is the head instructor for the Gold Coast classes and Mr Darryl Green (6th dan) is the head instructor for the Brisbane branches. Darryl Green

is a World Taekwondo International Referee and officiates regularly at International events overseas. He is the former President of the State Sporting Organisation, Australian Taekwondo Queensland. Neil Cowperthwaite 3rd Dan is the head sports coach and teaches at both Sandgate and Tingalpa branches. He has represented Australia as an athlete and as a coach. Other instructors include David Carroll 6th Dan, and Ernie Civitarese 4th Dan. All instructors are first aid qualified and hold blue cards

Our club owns a full time Taekwondo centre at 8/224 New Cleveland Road, Tingalpa. Our club regularly competes in sparring and poomse competitions at State, National and International levels. The times listed are just for the Tingalpa branch. Please refer to the web page for class times for the Gold Coast and Sandgate Branches. Private classes for sports and traditional martial arts are available upon request.
