Medical Receptionist (Casual) – Specialist Psychiatry Practice

Location: Spring Hill
Hours: 7:30am–5:00pm, initially 1 day/week with potential for 2
Pay: to be negotiated depending on age and experience

A solo specialist psychiatry practice in Spring Hill is seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Receptionist. This autonomous front-desk role requires professionalism, initiative and the ability to work independently. Training will be provided before commencing independently.

The position is particularly suited to a 1st or 2nd year university student seeking long-term employment. Flexibility is offered around university timetables, study commitments and exams. The practice also closes for approximately 8–10 weeks each year, generally aligning with university vacation periods.

We received amazing feedback from this event last year so we are so excited to announce that Pathways to ClinPsych will be returning in 2026!

What to expect:
- Hear exclusive insights from students in the Masters of Clinical Psychology and Masters of Clinical Neuropsychology/Clinical Psychology Programs at UQ
- Learn firsthand about the application process, program structure, career prospects and their personal experience!
- Stick around for a Q&A and some light refreshments at the end

When: Wednesday, 23rd of September, 5:30 - 7pm
