As Queensland prepares to do battle once again, the Aspley Devils are incredibly proud of the eight Devils who started their journeys at Kirby Park and went on to earn the right to wear the Maroon jersey.

🔥 Brad Thorn – FOG #120 (11 Origins)
A hard-nosed middle forward who embodied toughness and leadership, becoming one of Queensland’s most respected competitors.

🔥 Ashley Harrison – FOG #139 (15 Origins)
The ultimate team man. A tireless lock who built a reputation on resilience, work ethic and never taking a backward step.

🔥 David Stagg – FOG #154 (1 Origin)
A selfless back-rower who earned his Maroon jersey through consistency, professionalism and doing the little things right.

🔥 David Shillington – FOG #157 (8 Origins)
A powerhouse front-rower and key member of Queensland’s dominant era, renowned for his work rate and aggression through the middle.

🔥 Dylan Napa – FOG #180 (9 Origins)
An explosive prop who brought energy, physicality and plenty of punch to the Maroons forward pack.

🔥 Josh McGuire – FOG #187 (14 Origins)
The ultimate competitor. Fierce, passionate and uncompromising, Moose wore the Maroon jersey with pride every time he stepped onto the field.

🔥 Dunamis Lui – FOG #201 (2 Origins)
A powerful middle forward whose perseverance and dedication saw him rise from Kirby Park to State of Origin football.

🔥 Francis Molo – FOG #219 (2 Origins)
Continuing the proud Aspley tradition of producing elite front-rowers, Francis earned his place among Queensland’s best through hard work and determination.

From backyard games to Kirby Park, from Kirby Park to Suncorp Stadium, these eight men prove that big dreams can begin at the Aspley Devils.

💙❤️ WHAT. A. MORNING. ❤️💙

A huge thank you to all of our incredible Aspley Devils families, players, volunteers, sponsors and supporters who rolled out of bed before sunrise and got down to Kirby Park to help showcase Queensland spirit live on the Today Show this morning!

Seeing so many kids running around, smiling faces everywhere, and a sea of maroon and Aspley colours behind the live crosses was something special. The atmosphere was outstanding and showed the entire country exactly what our club is all about – community, family, fun and pride.

To every parent who set their alarm for 5:0am, every kid who bounced out of bed ready to go, and every volunteer who helped make it happen – THANK YOU. You represented the mighty Aspley Devils and Queensland rugby league brilliantly.

A special thanks to our sponsors, the NRL Game Development team, our club committee, coaches and everyone who helped create such a fantastic morning for the kids.

Now let's get behind the Maroons tonight and show Australia what Queensland spirit is all about.
