Friends, I almost don’t want to say this out loud for fear I may jinx it and cause some kind of monkeypox-covid collaboration that shuts the world down forever again …. But I think…. I hope… we might be able to start thinking about switch bricks again ????? Not this holidays but soon?!?) I’m thinking a weekend special after the holidays some time? I need your help to make that possible though. Unfortunately our usual venue is no longer viable in this new world - my old daily fee for hire is now the hourly rate which completely blows it all out of the water 😭 so I am in search of a new venue.
Must haves:
* Space for our usual set up, or a modified set up may be possible
* Toilets,
* Affordable hire fee
* Access to get our gear in
*availability from a Friday - Sunday with no other bookings

Happy to go anywhere Ipswich/ brisbane
Can be a hall, could even be a warehouse or commercial space that’s vacant and happy to make a pop up arrangement (I’m starting to think this may be a better option as a lot of halls have hires already in place on weekends or the fees for “private” functions are huge).

If you are a real estate guru or have a hall in your back pocket that may suit our needs or just have some creative options in mind send me a message ? Let’s bring the bricks back!!!!

Hi all,
It appears that our website has been hijacked and now takes you somewhere I am not sure you want to go. I will have to work out what to do with that 😬🤷‍♀️ but in the meantime please use only Facebook as a source of info regarding switch bricks!! Hope you’re all doing ok out there - I’m still working on a weekend switch bricks strategy sometime this year.

Hi switchies fans, friends and followers! It’s been such a long time since we’ve been able to play together and I just wanted to share an update on where things are at for Switch Bricks. It’s still super tricky to contemplate switchies in a COVID world and just when we think it might be possible it seems that things start to look tricky again. I’m heading back into the full time work force in the very near future so that means there will definitely NOT be an April Switch Bricks as I need to settle into that new routine. It might be possible for us to run a weekend only Switch Bricks on a smaller scale during the second term of school but this also depends on COVID developments and my new job commitments. I’ll be posting another post shortly calling for feedback on some proposed models of delivery so please watch this space for that and share your thoughts!

We’ve been keeping ourselves busy sorting LEGO and building stock for our eventual re-opening but really miss the real life Switch Bricks action - you guys are not just visitors to us - many of you are friends and some like family and I think of how much the kids must have grown since we held a Switchies. If anyone needs minifigs as Easter egg hunt fillers... feel free to send me a message with your needs as we have a wide variety in stock and I can quote you on a good price.

School holidays are creeping ever near so just wanted to let everyone know there still won’t be any switch bricks - fingers crossed things will be possible by Christmas holidays. We miss sharing our LEGO with all of you. Hope you’re all ok out there!

We’ve had a few messages asking if we’ll be holding switch bricks this holidays. Unfortunately we won’t be holding any sessions - we hope you understand it’s just a bit too tricky with our set up and the tactile nature of our sessions to ensure we are meeting social distancing and space restrictions. I look forward to the day when we can announce we’ll be back. Hope you’re all doing ok out there
