WATER POLO QUEENSLAND WELCOMES IOSEFA TUIASAU

WPQ is proud to welcome Iosefa "Sefa" Tuiasau to the team as our Elite Pathways Sport Officer.

Sefa joins WPQ following coaching roles with the Australian Sharks, the Queensland Thunder Men's AWL program and the internationally recognised University of California, Berkeley.

He brings extensive experience in athlete development, coach education and high-performance water polo, which will support the continued growth of athletes, coaches and pathways across Queensland.

Sefa will contribute to several key strategic initiatives, including the support of the WPQ Sharks & Dolphins Academies, WPQ Pathway Programs, and the ongoing advancement of athlete and coach development opportunities throughout the state.

CEO Ric Willmot said:

"Great coaches don't just develop better athletes; they develop better people, stronger clubs and stronger sporting communities. We're excited to welcome Sefa to WPQ and look forward to the contribution he will make to the future of water polo in Queensland."
