We believe that every style of Martial Arts has something good to offer.

About our club
Our instructors are fully accredited through AKFWSF the Australian Sports Commission. It is our belief that it is not the style that creates the individual but the individual that creates the style. It is totally up to the individual applying the acquired technique that determines the effectiveness not the style. We focus on the individual's strengths and weaknesses as everybody is

built slightly differently. Some people are tall, some are short, some are weak in areas and other strong. And as men and women are genetically different some techniques that suit one will not suit the other. Therefore we will teach each student all of the techniques that work and the reason behind each technique and allow them to apply the technique with their own creativity and personal expression.

🥊🔥 FKFA FIGHTERS CAMP 2026 🔥🥊

The countdown is on!

From Friday 3rd July to Sunday 5th July, our Fighters and Competition Team will head to the stunning surroundings of Gordon Country for an unforgettable weekend of training, challenge, growth, and team bonding.

This isn’t just another training session.

This is where skills are sharpened, confidence is built, and champions are forged.

Over three action-packed days, students will be pushed beyond their comfort zones through:

👊 Intense fight training
👊 Sparring strategy and drills
👊 Strength and conditioning
👊 Mental toughness development
👊 Leadership and teamwork challenges
👊 Campfire discussions and personal growth

Success in martial arts doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from dedication, discipline, persistence, and the willingness to do the hard work when others won’t.

I am looking forward to spending the weekend with an amazing group of dedicated students who continue to represent Freestyle Kung Fu Academy with pride, respect, and determination.

The friendships built, lessons learned, and memories made at Fighters Camp often last a lifetime.

🏆🔥 NATIONAL ALLSTYLES – ROUND 2 | GOLD COAST 🔥🏆

What an incredible day for the Freestyle Kung Fu Academy team at Round 2 of the National Allstyles Martial Arts Competition on the Gold Coast!

This was our biggest competition team ever, and every single student represented our academy with pride, courage, discipline, respect, and an outstanding fighting spirit. From the first match to the final division, our students left everything on the mats and demonstrated exactly what Freestyle Kung Fu Academy is all about.

A huge thank you to all of our parents, families, friends, and supporters who travelled with us and cheered our students on throughout the day. Your support means the world to our team, and these achievements would not be possible without you.

Freestyle Kung Fu Academy continues to prove that we are one of the strongest and most successful martial arts competition teams in the country, and we are only getting started.

Good luck to all of our White and Yellow Sash students who are grading today and taking the next step in their Kung Fu journey!

📍 Today’s Grading Times:
👊 Kids White & Yellow Sashes – 4:00 PM
👊 Teens & Adults White & Yellow Sashes – 6:00 PM

⚠️ Important Reminder:
All students must attend in their full Kung Fu uniform, including their traditional Kung Fu jacket.

This week marks the beginning of our Mid-Year Grading Week, where students will have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills, discipline, focus, and dedication they have developed through their training.

📢 Please Note:
There will be NO general classes this week due to gradings. All regular classes will resume next week.

Remember, grading is not about being perfect—it is about showing your improvement, effort, attitude, and commitment to your training.

🔥 BLACK SASH DEVELOPMENT CAMP 2026 🔥

Two weeks ago we held our Annual Black Sash Development Camp… and what a weekend it was.

Set in the stunning surrounds of Gordon Country — no mobile service, no distractions — just nature, connection, and pure Kung Fu. The perfect place to unplug from technology and fully lock in.

Led by Master Sifu Frank alongside Sifu Daniel, Sifu Luke, and Sibak Matthew — with our Black Sash students Sihing Jazzy, Jaxon, Callum and Zayan — this camp was built around one focus…

👉 REAL STREET SELF DEFENCE. REAL APPLICATION.

Friday night we kicked things off with introductions and weapon training, introducing the Kabataan, with each student receiving their own to take home.The night finished around the campfire with great conversation, connection, and a hearty meal cooked by Master Sifu Frank 👊🔥

Saturday took things to another level…

⚡ Morning Session:Real-world scenarios — how to react under pressure, control an attacker, and understanding exactly when to hit the GO BUTTON to protect yourself.

⚡ Afternoon Session:Next level reflex and sensory training — blindfolded defence drills where students had to rely on instinct, awareness, and feel… controlling attackers and executing takedowns without sight.

This was more than just training — this was transformation.

A weekend of intense Kung Fu, great food, and a powerful exchange of knowledge between instructors and students. The feedback has been incredible.

Our fighters stepped up under the bright lights and represented Freestyle Kung Fu Academy with courage, heart, and true warrior spirit.

👊 Jayden Carey – stepped into the ring for his 3rd full contact fight and his FIRST boxing match!
A huge step in his fight journey! Transitioning into boxing for the first time takes skill, composure, and confidence—and Jayden rose to the challenge. Every fight he continues to grow stronger, sharper, and more battle-ready. This is what development looks like! 💪🔥

🥊 Sibak Lucas Radonova – took on his 4th full contact fight and his FIRST K-1 bout!
Lucas continues to level up, testing himself in different rule sets and proving his versatility as a fighter. Stepping into K-1 for the first time is no easy task, and he rose to the challenge like a true martial artist. 👊🔥
