What a huge weekend of bowls and the quality of the bowls played was superb.

So here are the results:
Quarter Finals:
Game 1: Richard Nowland (Jindalee) 13 Defeated By Jeff Sipek (Jindalee) 21
Game 2: Paul Linder (Jindalee) 20 Defeated By Karen Bondzulic (Jindalee) 21
Game 3: Glen Peterson (United) 17 Defeated By Brendan Swan (Salisbury) 21
Game 4: Daniel Gowing (North Ipswich) 21 defeated Robyn Jones (North Ipswich) 17

Semi Finals :
Brendan Swan (Salisbury) 21 Defeated Jeff Sipek (Jindalee) 15
Karen Bondzulic 21 Defeated Daniel Gowing (North Ipswich) 11

And The BIG FINAL:
What an awesome game it was. Who'd ever consider either of these two players, based on the bowls they played, as Novices.

And history has been made. Since the inception of the OPEN NOVICE SINGLES never before has a female player made the FINAL yet alone become the NOVICE SINGLES CHAMPION.

The OVER 60's Men's and Ladies has had a date change as notified by Gold Coast Tweed District today.

Over 60's Men's and Ladies Call-Out Notices have been issued to all CDBA Clubs.
Play against the best of the best this State offers - Brisbane, Gateway, Gold Coast Tweed.
Games are played at the Gold Coast this year on Sunday 21 June (date change) at a Club yet to be determined. ENTRIES CLOSE 8 June (extended)
