You won't see an instructor enforce push ups to gain discipline at our club - push ups are a great exercise, why would you punish someone with it? Unfortunately this is the way of most clubs. Instead we encourage kids to be their best by rewarding them for achieving their skills. Discipline comes from wanting recognition and attention for personal achievement and we have plenty of ways to do that.

Our positive teaching methods are reflected in our unusually high retention rates which are way above the national average. Kids want to train at our club because they feel valued, they feel important, they feel a sense of belonging and most of all, they can see their achievements quickly and in a very tangible way.

That’s our last comp for the year but remember, results are mostly achieved in training preparation.
On the day of comp, it’s more about managing mindset, nerves, and allowing your body to do what you already know how to do.

🥋Grading Cut Off this week🥋

This Saturday night is the grading application deadline for all those TKD and YM who have earned all of their grading stripes this term.

If you’re new to the club, it’s worthwhile highlighting a few points about grading here.

🟣 Gradings are held every term.
🟣 You must collect all of your stripes (including pink) to grade.
🟣You must register on line by the due date - link below.
🟣 Only about 50% of the club make any given grading.
🟣 Missing gradings is a normal part of the journey to black belt.
🟣100% of our members will make it to black belt, regardless of how many gradings they didn’t make.

🟣 Becoming a black belt is not easy, just like life is sometimes not easy. Earning a black belt can help equip your kids for life’s journey.
