Have you ever wanted to try AFL but weren’t sure where to start? Our FREE Women & Girls 12+ AFL9s competition is the perfect opportunity to give it a go in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

Starting Thursday 29 October, AFL9s is a great way to:
• Try football without the pressure of a full season.
• Learn the basic skills and rules of the game.
• Improve your fitness, confidence and coordination.
• Meet new people and make new friends.
• Enjoy being active in a welcoming team environment.
• Discover how much fun footy can be!

BIG Focus on FUN!

No previous experience is needed and everyone is welcome—whether you’re completely new to AFL or looking to get back into the game.

To help players prepare, our free 3-week Pre-AFL9s Skills Clinic starts this Thursday. It’s a great chance to learn some key skills, build confidence and meet other players before the competition begins.

On Friday we had our Youth Presentations. What a wonderful night to recognise our wonderful teams and players.

What being part of a club is all about. ❤️💙

A pretty special moment at Kedron yesterday.

Our U13 Division 4 Mixed team had just experienced the heartbreak of losing their Grand Final by a single point earlier in the afternoon.

But instead of heading home, they came back to Kedron to support our Senior Division 2 team as they fought for a place in next week’s Grand Final.

After the seniors got the win, our U13s were invited into the change rooms to join the celebrations and help belt out the Kedron club song together.

Two teams at very different ends of the emotions that footy can bring — one dealing with the heartbreak of a one-point Grand Final loss, and another celebrating the excitement of earning their place in one.

But in that change room, they were simply Kedron Lions.

This is what club footy is all about. Supporting each other through the wins and the losses, showing up for your clubmates, and sharing moments like these together.

Congratulations to our Division 2 team — Grand Final bound! 🦁

And to our U13 Division 4 Mixed team, we couldn’t be prouder of the way you represented Kedron, both on and off the field. ❤️💙

A tough day at the office for our under 13 teams in their Grand Finals.

Our girls went down to a strong Ferny Grove team 31-8. The girls put in a mighty effort right to the end.

Our mixed team had a nail biter of a game against Wilston Grange going down to the wire and unfortunately coming away with a 1 point loss 40-39. A massive effort from the team.

We are so proud of both teams, you all should all be so proud of the way you played.

Don't forget our Youth Presentation are Friday night 4/9 where we can come together and celebrate the season..

IT'S GRAND FINAL DAY.... head on down to Southpine Sports Complex today to support our Under 13 girls and Under 13 mixed div 4 teams as they head into the big dance. All the fun starts with the girls at 11am followed by the mixed team at 12:45pm.

What a night the Kedron Lions Juniors had last night at the SEQ Youth Awards, with players achieving places across 6 of our teams.

A huge congratulations to Nate Herrmann from the under 15 boys div 3 team for placing 1st with 23 votes.

And a huge congratulations to Veda O'Brien from the Under 15 girls div 2 team for placing 1st with 18 votes.

An epic season for both Nate and Veda.

Congratulations to all our players for their hard work and dedication throughout the season!!
