One of the things we love most about clogging is how easily we can all share the same dance floor. Different clubs, different ages and everything from less than six months to more than 20 years of experience.
Our weird step names are our common language. You don’t need to know a routine beforehand. You can step onto the floor, listen and be part of the dance. It was pretty special to have a few cloggers join us just for the day. ❤️
Days like this are also a reminder of the wonderful clogging community we have here in Brisbane. We may dance in different places each week, but when there’s an opportunity to get out there and share what we love, we do it together.
We’re so grateful to the Ekka for this opportunity. It’s always a pleasure to introduce clogging to a new audience, and even better to invite them onto the floor themselves. Three mini workshops gave a few brave newcomers the chance to have a go and experience a little of what we love about it. ❤️
