You do NOT need to break up with the Tim Tams to lose fat 😂

One of the biggest things I see with women trying to lose fat is this idea that the foods they enjoy need to go.

Chocolate out.
Snacks out.
Desserts out.
Monday to Friday = be “good” đŸ„Ž

And we all know how that story can end

You get to the evening tired, hungry and finally with five minutes to yourself, open the cupboard and suddenly you’re eating WAY more than you actually intended.

The answer isn’t necessarily more restriction.
Sometimes it’s actually the opposite.

If you know you love something sweet after dinner, plan for it!

Have the Tim Tams. Have the popcorn. Have dessert.

But make it intentional rather than accidental.

Portion it out.
Sit down and enjoy it.
Make room for it within your overall nutrition.

And if you’re regularly getting to 8pm absolutely ravenous, look at what’s happening before 8pm too.

Are you eating enough during the day?
Getting enough protein?
Skipping meals?
Trying to “save” all your calories?
Or is nighttime eating more about switching off after a massive day?

Because those are different problems and they need different solutions.

Fat loss doesn’t require a perfect diet.

It requires an approach you can actually see yourself living with.

And personally, I have zero interest in a life without chocolate 😂

P.S. This is exactly the kind of nutrition approach I coach inside IGNITE - no banned foods, no ridiculous meal plans, just learning how to make your nutrition work around your goals and your actual life.

IGNITE starts September 21st. If you want the details, comment or DM me IGNITE OR click the link in my bio and I’ll send them over đŸ§ĄđŸ”„

Real women. Real lives. Realistic plans.

After 10+ years of coaching women, I’ve become far less interested in giving someone the “perfect” plan on paper.

I’m much more interested in:

What can she actually repeat?

Because THAT is where the results come from.

And no, that doesn’t mean lowering your expectations or doing the bare minimum forever.

It means knowing when to push and knowing when to adjust.

Both are part of the plan.

P.S. IGNITE starts September 21st. Click the link in my bio or Comment / DM IGNITE if you’d like me to send you the details 🧡

I think sometimes we make “consistency” WAY more complicated than it needs to be.

Because consistency doesn’t mean every week looks the same.

There are weeks where you’ll get your 3 training sessions done, steps are high, food is organised and everything feels relatively easy.

And then there are the other weeks 😂

The kids are sick.

You’ve barely slept.

Work is mental.

There’s nothing prepped in the fridge.

Your planned hour in the gym isn’t happening.

And THIS is where I think a lot of women get caught out.

Because when we can’t do everything we planned to do

we do nothing.

And tell ourselves we’ll “get back into it” when things calm down.

But what if, instead, you had a few MINIMUMS you could fall back on?

Not because they’re optimal.

Not because 15 minutes of training is going to magically change your body.

But because you’re keeping the wheels turning.

15 minutes instead of your full workout.

Protein and a few basic meals instead of trying to nail your calories perfectly.

Something in the freezer for the nights when cooking from scratch is absolutely not happening.

Water bottle beside you.

A walk instead of doing nothing.

And actually TELLING someone when you’re struggling instead of disappearing until you feel like you’re “back on track” again.

None of that is sexy.

None of it is groundbreaking.

But it is ACHIEVABLE.

And when you’re already overwhelmed, that’s exactly what I want.

Because your minimums aren’t supposed to be the goal forever.

They’re what you fall back on when doing everything isn’t realistic.

Some weeks are about pushing forward.

Some weeks are simply about keeping the wheels turning.

Both count đŸ€

And getting really good at knowing what to do on those harder weeks?

That’s how we stop constantly having to start again đŸ‘ŒđŸ»

I see this ALLL the time 👀

You have a cracking few weeks.
Training is consistent and going well.
Food is organised, steps are up, you’re feeling good đŸ‘đŸ»

And then.. life happens 😅
Kids are sick, work goes mental, you’ve slept like đŸ’©, you miss a few workouts, food becomes whatever is quickest.

And, before you know it, you’re saying: Right, I’ll get back into it properly on Monday.

This is the bit I know you / we need to get better at. Not trying to make every week a perfect one. Not constantly searching for more motivation.

But, learning how to have a đŸ’© week without completely disappearing from the things that make you feel good!

Maybe you normally train 3 times but this week you manage one.
Maybe nutrition isn’t remotely perfect but you still prioritise protein and eat some veggies 😅

Maybe your steps are lower but you get outside for 15 mins instead of doing nothing!

It doesn’t have to be your best week. It just needs to stop becoming zero!

Becuase one messy week isn’t usually the problem.
It’s when that week turns into two then three and suddenly you feel like you need to “start again”.

If you recognise yourself in any of this - this is a PATTERN that can change đŸ€

You don’t have to be all in all the time to make meaningful change x

My toxic trait 😂

I can cope with the toys. The cushions. The random bits of plastic that seem to multiply overnight. The general evidence that CHILDREN LIVE HERE

But my kitchen bench?

I need her clear 😂

I am fully aware that a home with kids is supposed to look lived in and ours absolutely does.

But apparently my brain has decided that if I can keep ONE surface relatively clutter-free, everything is under control 😌

Kids’ chaos = acceptable.
Kitchen chaos = immediate system overload 😂

Please tell me I’m not alone in this.

What’s the ONE area of your house you need tidy even when everywhere else looks like a bomb has gone off? 👇
