Our Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30321) and Certificate IV in Fitness (SIS40221) courses are delivered from the National Training Package (SIS - Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package) and are also available online. Our courses are nationally recognised and Austudy approved. Once you complete your course, you can register with Fitness Australia and work anywhere in Australia. So far, our courses have helped people find work in England, Scotland, Portugal, and New Zealand.

40 hours of practical training. One week. Done in person.

That's a CRAM Week. Five days, full time, at Fit Ed HQ in Chelmer, working through your practical block in our own gym and on campus with teachers in the room with you the whole time.

Skills demonstrated and corrected on the spot. Program writing built alongside your teachers, not emailed back to you weeks later. From there you keep developing and applying those skills across the rest of your course while you work through your theory online, at your own pace.

And you're not doing it alone. You're in a room with students chasing exactly what you're chasing.

Flexible learning options. In gym. On campus. Online.

You get twelve months to complete each certificate, so there's room to balance life and study. How quickly you get there is determined by your commitment.

The Certificate III in Fitness is what gets you insured and into the industry, coaching in whatever sport or fitness style you love.

Next CRAM Weeks at Chelmer campus, 9:00am to 4:00pm:
Certificate III in Fitness, 21 to 25 September
Certificate IV in Fitness, 28 September to 2 October

A big thanks to ACHPER QLD for having us, and to Statewide Sports for standing alongside us on the day. A fantastic day out. Well done to Gio Capello GC Strength & Conditioning from Marsden SHS for facilitating a practical session, "Beyond Basic Circuits - Engaging Group Fitness in Secondary HPE”.

HPE teachers rotated through station after station! Sessions like this are why we love getting out of the classroom and onto the grass with the people shaping the next generation of students.

Thinking about a career in fitness? Our next CRAM week starts Sept 21.

The Cert III isn't just a piece of paper you file away. You learn how your own body works. Strength and conditioning. Programming around injury. That knowledge stays with you for life, whether you end up training clients or just training yourself properly for the first time.

Theory is online, in your own time, with a full 12 months to finish. Most students are done in six to nine. Come to a CRAM Week and you could be done in seven.

Government funding is available too, so it may cost less than you think.

Who is a Cert II in fitness for? EVERYBODY

You learn how your own body works. Strength and conditioning. How to modify a program around an injury. That's knowledge you'll use on yourself for the rest of your life, and we only get the one body.

Then there's where it takes you. One-on-one training, management, or the path Cheryl went down: loving the business side and ending up owning gyms of her own. It's a qualification that doesn't expire and doesn't run out of directions.

There's also government funding available for Cert III, so it may cost you less than you think.

"Seven weeks to 12 months. It depends on how much time you've got to put into it."

One of the most common questions we get: how long does it actually take to finish your cert?

We allow a full 12 months on purpose. Life happens, and we'd rather you have breathing room than get hit with extension fees. Most students who study at their own pace land somewhere around six to nine months.

But if you come to a CRAM Week? We've had students finish in seven weeks.

The support is there either way. You set the pace.

Fit Education x Statewide Sports 🤝

We're proud to announce our new partnership with Statewide Sports.

Two Queensland teams, one shared goal: getting more young people moving, and backing the HPE teachers and trainers who make that happen every day.

There's plenty more to come on what this means for schools, clubs and our students, so keep an eye on this space.
