A massive congratulations to for winning the first Team BCP challenge! πŸ‘‘

Not only did Dyl drop an incredible amount of weight over the last 8 weeks but his journey from the start has been nothing short of inspiring losing over 20kgs and KEEPING it OFF ! πŸ€œπŸΌπŸ€›πŸΌ

Dylan displayed not only adherence through his journey but also showed a great mentality throughout juggling work AND is going to be representing his country Chile πŸ‡¨πŸ‡± in a massive Rugby tournament in the coming month which is insane. 🀯

Congratulations Dyl, the results are sweet but it’s even better when you win your money back as a result of your hard work! πŸ₯³

When it comes to training, having structure will help you progress. Within your training plan, you should have a scale of intensity, whether it's RPE or RIR. πŸ€“

RPE is a scale of intensity used to help you train to an adequate intensity to facilitate muscle growth but to also stop those that love going crazy from absolutely frying themselves week in and week out and wondering why they aren't making any progress! 🀐

This post is an example of RPE and how it should look and feel. The more you train, the better you'll be at knowing where your training sits. Just like any skill, practice makes perfect πŸ™Œ

We need to change our narrow views around health. πŸ’­πŸ₯¦

These days, the majority of people are posting either before and after photos or previous photos of them "lean" or skinnier. Now, there's nothing wrong with being proud of your achievements of dieting regardless of whether it was for a show or for an entirely different reason. πŸ‘€

However, the culture that's getting pushed these days is that being skinnier or leaner is the answer to most of your problems/insecurities. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

This way of thinking results with many people going into restriction with their eating as a default, believing that being leaner is what will make them happier or is a more ideal look, disregarding their overall health. 😟

Women are more prevalent for this way of thinking, but the positive thing is that we are slowly starting to see a shift in the way women think they have to look and are now looking to be stronger, more muscular as opposed to skinnier and smaller. Let's change this way of thinking and start nourishing our bodies with the right food and not thinking that getting leaner will solve your problems 😒

Nutrition protocols that need to stop gaining popularity and being normalised.

1 - Binge restrict cycles do more harm psychologicaly with your relationship with food than just accepting that you may have gone a little overboard and that you'll go back to eating better portion sizes the next day

2: Fad diets always circulate the media, claiming that they will be the magic thing that helps you get in shape and change your health... nothing beats a consistent and well rounded diet.

3 - Juice cleansers, need I say more?

4 - Obsessing over every gram and not being in control of your diet/food. Letting your food dictate everything and then feeling guilty about 1g is not a healthy way to go about improving your health. Give yourself a range roughly 10g in either direction. However, don't beat yourself up if you stray outside of it from time to time.

Are your daily habits making you a constantly tired and uninspired person? πŸ«₯

I've been there, sinking 3+ coffees a day, dragging myself through my day, to tick the boxes and do it all again until the weekend. πŸ€’

Our habits often stray towards whats easier and continually patching up those areas of our life where we need to address them before they become chronic problems leading to illness, depression etc. 🫠

So if you are constantly feeling tired and don't know where to start to get yourself feeling better, then swipe right πŸ‘‰

πŸ”ΈοΈHydration is massively important and the majority of the people who to come to me are having less than 1.5L. An easy fix with a good sized water bottle and some timers to help keep you on track until you do it naturally 😁

πŸ”ΈοΈSunlight - helps us absorb vitamin D, helps reduce stress and depression amongst helping create melatonin naturally which will help you sleep 😴 (big for shift workers)

πŸ”ΈοΈ Movement - helps clear brain fog, helps with depression, discipline, reduces risk of diseases aswell as a whole host of other benefits it will help kick you into gear once you get into the swing of it. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Karen has been with me for around 2 years, and to say im proud is an understatement. This lady continues to inspire me with her work ethic, determination, and hunger for success.
