For the first time in history we leave the weekend with 6 wins, our first perfect round for the year.

The Lee Whitehorn Trophy was retained by our QFA div 1 seniors and QAFLW seniors beating Moreton Bay 209 - 69 on aggregate.

All 6 teams dominated over the weekend, shown by the aggregate score for all games being 493-144.

Well done to our Senior men's and women's teams this afternoon, retaining the Lee Whitehorn Memorial Trophy by an aggregate score of 209 - 69 over Moreton Bay.

Even better, the Red Lions went a combined 6-0 across all fixtures on the weekend for the very first time!

Our QAFLW and QFA Div 1 squads travel to Moreton Bay to defend the Lee Whitehorn memorial trophy.

The Div 3 North boys travel to Narangba where they look to beat the crows and punch their finals ticket, whilst the boys in the South defend BAM against old rivals Collingwood Park.

A weekend of huge importance and great footy that is not to be missed. ❤️

This Saturday, Moreton Bay and University of Queensland will compete for the second annual Lee Whitehorn Memorial Trophy 🏆

Lee coached Moreton Bay's Senior Men in 2017 and 2018, and UQ's Senior Women in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, Lee was diagnosed with brain cancer, which claimed his life in 2024 at just 47 years of age.

The event will raise funds and awareness for All in the Mind Foundation, which supported Lee and his family through treatment.
