Men’s mental health month:
Didn’t want to share this but fk it! On the left, was me around a year and a bit ago, at my worst mentally… I was emotionally and mentally lost. I escaped with drugs more times than I’d like to admit. That worked… until it didn’t. Until it nearly actually killed me and took every little bit of happiness I had.
After a massive wake up call I knew I had to turn s**t around. It’s been a long and challenging journey, one which I’m still completing, and will likely continue to complete for some time ahead. I’m blessed enough to have found clarity in darkness. Something I thought was impossible at the time. But it’s always one step at a time. Now I can finally say I have a pure purpose & direction in life, & one which is looking positive and abundant🙏🏽
For those struggling, please reach out! Feel free to message me as well if you’re not sure where to start. There’s so many different things you can do every day to improve your mental state during tough times. If you struggle with mental health, every single day you’ve got to be on the ball, you have to choose you, you have to be relentless in each step you take to make sure you’re doing your best to step towards a positive direction for you mentally, physically & spiritually. Most of all, just be grateful for the opportunity you have to be you and be the only you there is on this planet!
