Alot of people think you need to spend hours in the gym to make a difference, but the reality is, you don't!

Even a few minutes each day, whether it's walking, swimming, stretching, or just movement of some kind, can improve your strength, balance, heart health and energy levels.

Small daily habits add up over time and will help you stay healthy and independent, as well as reduce your risk of falls, sickness and injury.

A beautiful day for a spot of lawn bowls with some of my clients.

One of the things I love about my job is the connections I build with them, and not just in the gym training.

I also love that some of my clients have become great friends through these types of events.

I'm not just helping to build stronger bodies, I'm bringing people together too!

Cooler temps = soup season!

And this roasted cauliflower soup hits the spot when it's cold and rainy outside!

Chop your cauliflower up, toss through olive oil, salt/pepper/paprika and spread over a baking tray. Into the oven for approx 35-40 mins. I used a whole cauliflower and this was enough for 4 serves.

Finely chop half an onion and fry with butter/minced garlic/salt/pepper to taste.

Blend your onions and cauliflower with a couple of tablespoons of butter and vegetable stock. The amount you use will depend on how thick you want your soup and you might need to do it in batches depending on the size of your blender.

Keep a few of the smaller pieces of the cauliflower to use as garnish when you've popped your soup into the bowl. I also pulled apart some bread and air fried it for some croutons to add to the soup.

A super quick, easy and tasty lunch or dinner. It took less than 5 minutes to prep, cook and have it in the bowl ready to eat!

Bite sized diced salmon
Chopped snow peas
Microwave rice
Wasabi peas
Teriyaki sauce

Toss the salmon and snow peas in the pan with the teriyaki sauce while your rice is cooking. Pop your cooked rice into your bowl with your salmon and snow peas on top, then sprinkle a handful of wasabi peas on top and ta daaaa....you're ready to go!
