This National Child Protection Week, we’re reminded that protecting children is everyone’s business. Across the volleyball community, athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, volunteers, parents and carers all have a role to play.

By continuing to listen to children and young people, take concerns seriously, speak up when something doesn’t feel right and maintain safe, supportive environments, we can help ensure every young athlete feels valued and respected.

Every conversation matters. Together, we can turn awareness into action and help keep children and young people safe in our sport.

🇦🇺 TWO QUOTA SPOTS SECURED FOR LA 28! 🇺🇸

What a result at the AVC Asian Beach Volleyball Championships, with Australia securing both a men’s and women’s quota spot for beach volleyball at the LA 2028 Olympic Games! 🏐🔥

Congratulations to Queenslanders Taliqua Clancy and Mark Nicolaidis on taking GOLD 🥇,Ben Hood on SILVER 🥈 and fellow Queenslander Jasmine Fleming who finished in 9th place.

What a result for Australian beach volleyball! 👏🇦🇺

🏆 ANOTHER WINNER FROM THE PVL FINALS! 🏆

Congratulations to Fatima Deen, winner of the $500 Mahindra fuel voucher after correctly guessing the number of volleyballs packed into the Mahindra boot! ⛽🏐

With more than 60 volleyballs packed into the boot — and still room for more, it was certainly a tricky one!

It was a fantastic night at the PVL Grand Finals, with plenty of excitement both on and off the court.

Fatima’s son will now head to Perth to represent Queensland U14s in the 2026 Australian Youth Volleyball Championships (AYVC) . 🏐

What a night — a $500 fuel voucher and a trip to Perth on the horizon!
