Unplugged Yoga Unplugged Yoga is a fresh and modern yoga studio located in Ashgrove, Brisbane.

Yin Rest is back on the schedule for this Sunday and we’re so excited that it will be guided by Vanessa.

If you’ve practised with Vanessa before, you’ll know she brings a depth of knowledge and calm presence to every class. With a strong understanding of Yin and restorative practices, this is the perfect opportunity to slow down, reset, and give your nervous system some care before the week ahead.

Expect long-held shapes, space to soften, and the kind of rest that stays with you long after class ends.

Winter asks us to move differently.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this season is associated with the Water element, a time of deep restoration, introspection, and conserving energy. Yet so many of us continue pushing through exhaustion, overstimulation, and stress.

This event is designed to help you come back into balance.

Through yin yoga, restorative practices, somatic inquiry, and gentle myofascial release, we’ll support the Kidney and Bladder meridians while calming the nervous system and creating space for true rest.

If you’ve been feeling tired, emotionally stretched, anxious, or disconnected from yourself lately, this is your invitation to slow down and refill your cup.

This is your June Challenge moment.

A practice to pause, breathe, move, and mark how far you’ve come.

On Saturday 21 June, we’re coming together for 108 Sun Salutations, a rhythmic and meditative practice designed to help you release, reset, and reconnect.

For June Challenge members, this practice is included for free.

And that matters, because the challenge is not only about completing 21 classes. It is about building a stronger relationship with your practice. It is about showing up when winter makes it easier to stay away. It is about letting the community carry you when motivation drops.

This class will be guided in rounds, with rest encouraged throughout. You can complete all 108, take breaks, move slower, or pause whenever your body asks.

Every round is an invitation back to breath.

Every movement brings you back into your body.

Every pause counts.

We’ll finish with an extended savasana so you can settle into the work you’ve done.

After supporting more than 2000 people through health and fitness, Moishe recognised that what people were truly searching for went far beyond the physical. It was self acceptance, connection, clarity and peace within themselves.

Since then, his path has evolved through years of study in healing arts, consciousness, intuitive work and energy healing, guiding people around the world through deeply transformative experiences.

On Saturday 21 June, we’re gathering for 108 Sun Salutations. A moving meditation designed to help you release what you no longer need, reset your energy, and reconnect to yourself through breath and repetition.

For June Challenge members, this practice is included free to book in.

Because the challenge is about more than completing 21 classes.
It’s about creating consistency.
Showing up through winter.
Returning to yourself, even on the days it feels easier not to.
And allowing community to support you along the way.

This practice will be guided in rounds, with rest encouraged throughout. You’re welcome to complete all 108, move at your own pace, pause when needed, or simply experience the rhythm of the practice in a way that feels supportive for your body.

Teacher Spotlight: Welcome Back, Frances! 🌿

We’re so excited to welcome Frances back to our cover teaching team following maternity leave. Keep an eye out for her familiar face on the timetable in the coming weeks, starting with a 9.30am Vinyasa tomorrow morning!

Frances first stepped onto a yoga mat at just 12 years old and has been practising for over 20 years. For her, yoga has been a constant companion through every season of life, evolving and adapting as she grows, while always remaining a steady source of support. She hopes yoga will still be part of her life well into her 80s.

Her favourite style of practice is a strong, flowing vinyasa that allows her to step out of her busy mind and fully into her body. Her forever favourite pose is Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose), so don’t be surprised if you find a little balance work woven into her classes.

Frances completed her first teacher training on an olive farm in Spain in 2017 and has been sharing her love of yoga ever since. As a mother of two beautiful babies, she is deeply grateful for the role yoga has played in supporting her through the journey of parenthood—one deep breath at a time.

In every class, Frances strives to create a space where students feel held, safe, supported, challenged, and balanced. We know you'll love practising with her.
