As we close the chapter on Season 2026, it’s hard to hide the disappointment. Missing the finals for the first time hurts, and it’s not the way any of us wanted this season to end.
But one season doesn’t define who we are. Adversity builds character, and this group has shown time and time again that we’re capable of bouncing back stronger. We’ll learn from the setbacks, work harder than ever, and come back with a renewed hunger.
To our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and everyone who stood by us this season—thank you for your unwavering commitment. Your support means everything.
As we head into 2027, we’re also celebrating a milestone—Brisbane Lightning turns 5. Five years of growth, memories, challenges, and incredible people helping build this club into what it is today.
And who knows... turning five might just mean it’s time for Brisbane Lightning to get a little glow up. 👀⚡
This isn’t the end of our story—it’s the start of an exciting new chapter.
Season 2027 is already in our sights, and we can promise one thing: we’ll be back stronger, hungrier, and ready to make our mark.
