Saturday 12.9.2026 is the first Bushcare day at Rocklea disc golf course.
Volunteers are needed !!
Please donate an hour or two of your weekend to come along and show strength in the disc golf community.
09:00 start Freney Street carpark (works and planting will be down near hole 2 basket)
Toilets will be provided. As will drinks and snacks.
Arranged in conjunction with Oxley Creek Catchment Association and Brisbane Sustainability Association.
Please come along and show your support. This is the first step in getting bigger and better facilities at this course and we need your help (no skills required as training and waivers will be available)

Just a heads up for anyone playing Rocklea this week.
We had a bushcare planning meeting this morning for upcoming event Sept 12 (we will be calling for volunteers soon!)

Brisbane City council will be spraying and slashing long grass area down behind and right of basket 2. This involves application of chemicals to kill grass. Chemicals are stable after 12 hours and contain a visible dye.
Please exercise appropriate caution if playing in the area over the next few days.

Slight change to League this weekend.
Cadogan will be happening Sunday morning instead of usual day.

This will allow anyone interested to attend Montessori league for a last chance practice before next weekends fundraiser tournament.
(I believe places are still available for tournament if you haven’t registered yet!!)
