The loss of revenue for the 2 day test is huge. It has been floated that the figure is around $25m. The flow on effect into grass roots cricket and domestic cricket will be scary to see. We have already seen Cricket Australia withdraw funding from Indoor Cricket and Country Cricket. What's next?.....

Not every kid is going to do it and keeping them diligent to do it, is incredibly hard but being able to reach out to them if they are struggling or have some concerns, is so important these days. 🙏

July Cricket Clinic 4-7 JULY 2022

Do you ever look back at the end of your season and wonder, did I really improve this year? 🧐

Do you ever feel like you have wasted a year of cricket? 🤷‍♂️

I know I did. Ever since I started coaching, I have always wanted to make sure that each kid I train is working on something very specific to help them get better, faster. 💪

How do you train now? What do you do with all of your stats on My Cricket? What sort of program are you working on this off season? These are all questions that you should be asking yourself right now. 🥸

Our head coach Nathan Hauritz is heading overseas to pursue his international coaching career. Before he leaves though, we will be hosting one more clinic with him. 4 days of fun with mates and like minded kids. 😀

The structure in July will be a little different with the days broken up into specialities.



Day 1: 50 Over Cricket

Day 2: Spin Focused

Day 3: T20 Cricket

Day 4: All 3 together



This will be Nathan’s last clinic for a lengthy period and we are wanting you to work with him and our amazing coaches before your season starts! 🏏





Venue: Nudgee College

Ages: 9-17 (*Ages 15+ will have a specific high performance program for the 4 days)

Dates: 4th – 7th July

Times: 9:00am – 3:00pm each day

Cost: $550 for the 4 days (*If interested in staying on campus, please contact Nathan. Limit 10 spots

Coaches corner 🏪There might be many unlikely cricket dads and mums , but the ULTIMATE cricket dad and mums are some of the ones who actually get out there and Play and Train with their sons and daughters !

Love the extra family that cricket creates... Hours and hours each week with awesome people who teach me many things, make me laugh and are just good to be around at training .

Specific stations had us working on sweep shots and all things pool shots and specific batting against spin today… younger kids are always tired at the end of term .. which means they can get clumsy ⛔️, Nevertheless they had fun punching balls to release those last term 2 feels, soon holidays will be calling ! ! ☀️ Good to hear the encouragement and support in the community for the kids pushing through !! ( and some tired parents too 🥹🙀🤷🏻‍♀️)

Alister’s record speaks for itself and now runs his own cricket academy.

Alister will be joining us for 3 fast bowling sessions throughout the clinic with a focus on prehab, planning and ex*****on.

Shane Warne’s ball of the century will probably go down as the greatest ball of all time.

I won’t go into the technical bits about it, but every time I watch it, I am still amazed at the shape on it.

After Matt Parkinson’s recent debut against NZ, social media and commentators and the world was able to have their opinion on whether or not they think he has what it takes… His figures on debut 15.3 overs 1/47. It’s amazing that in this day and age, his debut is scrutinised in a way that his future performance are already pre determined by fans…

Shane Warnes figures on debut were 45 overs 1/150. Shane went on to become the greatest spinner the world has ever seen.

My question is this.. Do you think Shane Warne would have survived in this current environment given his debut figures? Or do you believe that his skill would have ultimately shone through? Because I can guarantee if he had a debut of 1/150 there would have been a lot of people commenting on him never playing again……🙃
