🚨Update🚨

5 and a half years - what a ride 🥰
Upon reflection, I have made the incredibly tough decision to step away from face-to-face coaching at the end of this year. Ultimately, family will always come first - and as that commitment continues to grow (cue final picture🤰), the ability for me to physically be present on all fronts is something my body is struggling to maintain.

So what is next???

The spotlight will still be there for my JFAR family - supporting your amazing progress online. I cannot wait to continue to enrich your lives and embrace the journey with you as you strive to achieve your full potential.

Reflection of the journey so far…?

To say I am blessed to work with 100s of amazing people as they achieve all kinds of goals is an understatement. Each of you has left an imprint on me and my family. Thank you for trusting me with your journey - it means so much to say you were part of the JFAR family.

To the community and - thank you so much for allowing me to bring my unique flair and music taste to your homes. There are too many amazing people for me to mention here…I know that the love I felt from the community will stick with me moving forward as I navigate the next chapter in this journey.

Final thoughts:

I am going to miss working on the floor. I love the interactions with members, pushing my clients technically, challenging their notions and rewriting their story in some small way!!! My passion for education of a better lifestyle will always be something I treasure most. It will be in a different medium, but the beauty of change is it will give me something in return ❤️

I can comfortably say that this won’t be goodbye - this will be see you sometime soon 🙌🏻

🤯 PSA - We Are Back 🤯

After my back injury 3 years ago, it has been a constant battle to get back to pain-free movement. However, the foundation has been laid - and we are finally back to building strength back…and that is fu***ng exciting 😊

So - to celebrate - I’d thought I’d share the 3 exercises that have bulletproofed my back - leaving me confident to pursue the next phase - building muscle and getting strong AF

1. RDL - after discovering the limitations and pain responses in deadlifting from the floor, moving to RDLs has really put the spotlight on my hamstring strength. This has supported my back immensely by recalibrating muscle recruitment during a hinge pattern.
2. Glute Bridge - Never underestimate the power of a strong AF 🍑 Discovering how to use lower core in line with glute activation and control, I can now comfortably move through a larger ROM pain-free…plus it doesn’t hurt getting a little more junk in the trunk
3. Squat Pattern - Experimenting with squat patterns have seen a massive development in core stability and leg strength. Focussing on loading in-line or in front of the body was important for bulletproofing the core!!! Split squats have helped to establish control on each leg; especially important for the 24/7 job of parenting…I now never fear picking up my daughter from the floor - and even start to move around with her on my shoulders.
