My dads speech at my grandads funeral last week really got me thinking of how much he has shaped our characters, just like he said his dad helped shape his.

Eternally grateful to have you as our dad, it’s been a crazy few years but I know without doubt I can count on you just as much as you can count on me ❤️

If you want that “dream body” you always think about..

You're not going to get it with ridiculous diets or hours of cardio.. (also not saying cardio is bad but you can definitely overdo it!!)

To look and feel your best, building muscle is important..

It’s a process that takes patience, consistency, and proper training.

But with more muscle often leads to an improved metabolism, making it easier for you to lose fat.

It allows you to shape your body & can give you the "toned" look that many people strive for..

So stop over complicating things, starving yourself or going crazy on the cardio.

🌟Fuel your body. Train hard & Don't be afraid to ask for help 🥰

Do you always find an excuse as to why you can't do something? 🤷‍♀️

Excuses will always be there ready to be found.. 🥲

There will always be people who have it "easier" than you & on the contrary there will always be people who have it "harder"…

We all have our own battles in life - mentally, physically & externally. We all have different priorities, tastes & opinions... I believe it is SO important to focus on what YOU are doing & YOUR journey & try not to get distracted by other people.. 🙏

Most importantly don't COMPARE to others..

Comparison is the thief of joy ❤️

I started seeing results when...

❌I stopped doing a million exercises in a workout

❌I stopped changing exercises every single session every week

❌I stopped focusing on cardio

❌I stopped doing random fancy workouts I’d see on Instagram

AND STARTED…

✅Following a solid program

✅Training smart and with intent

✅Weight training and getting strong

✅ Being consistent

The more you play it small and the more you shrink yourself…..opportunities, your goals and dreams will just pass you by.. 🙄

So stop saying..
🤨What if I fail?
🤨What if I'm not good enough?
🤨What is people stare or talk about me?

It’s good to step outside your comfort zone.. it’s hard, yes. But so worth it.

Stop worrying about everyone else's opinion of you and stop standing in your own way 🙏

I compete because I enjoy it, yes it’s bloody hard but I genuinely love the process and I love being up there on show day.. but I also don’t let it take over my life. I’ve learnt over the past few years.. how great life can really be. I’ll always train hard, I’ll always try my best to stay as fit and healthy AND as strong as I can be.. but I’ll also enjoy travel, socialising and having the freedom to do what I want.. when I want ♥️

PS: this was a crazy prep.. if I can prep and end up like this whilst under extreme stress, then I know I’ll be a million times better next time 😅✌️
