I’ve met lots of people who achieve their goals and are still miserable, depressed, angry, and unfulfilled.🏆😔😫🥴😡

That’s because pleasure only lasts for a moment or two. It’s in the body. It’s like eating cake. Happiness is in the mind. You get the grade, or the job, or the car. Someone gives you a compliment, or you win an Academy Award. It’s great but it doesn't last. Pretty soon it's just a statue on the mantle or a car in the garage, right?

Only GROWTH and CONTRIBUTION give us FULFILLMENT and MEANING.

Life wants us to GROW!🌱

The more we GROW the more we have to GIVE.

REMEMBER: What you get will never make you truly happy, the whole game is who we BECOME.

Grief will always reign supreme when we need to heal.

Grief is the foundation of moving through difficult things and it is experienced differently by each of us.

Grief is to be respected and experienced...there is no escape, and we cannot truly heal without this rite of passage.

That being said, recovering from difficult things will ask other things of us too, as we continue to move through grief.

Firstly, our recovery will eventually ask us to find our knowledge and wisdom within our experience. It will inevitably take us through paths that force us to see truth and reason.
This is usually painful and messy.

Secondly, we will be asked to be brave; Brave in our thoughts and courageous in our actions...trusting in our wisdom and trusting in the unknown - this is the ultimate 'leap of faith' - all will not be clear right now. This will require courage at every turn and the release of control.

Lastly we will undoubtedly be asked to trust and surrender to ALL of the above.
Recovery from difficult things will ask us to be ok with the uncertainty that lay before us...it will ask us to 'let go'.

How long this process takes us, is our own experience and it is part of how we choose to expand/grow/change/transform.

Be real.
Be brave.
Heal.
