I was in Melbourne and did the Albert Park Christmas parkrun. Over 1500 (1570 to be exact) turned up on a cold and windy day to run. I think this might be the biggest parkrun turnout in Australia. Huge start line, a massive finishing chute, and so many people that they actually ran out of barcodes. Very Melbourne summer vibes too, cold, windy, and still a great morning.

Massive credit to the Albert Park parkrun volunteers for pulling off such a big event on Christmas Day. It felt more like a festival than a parkrun.

I was in Melbourne and did the Albert Park Christmas parkrun. Over 1500 (1570 to be exact) turned up on a cold and windy day to run. Cold, windy, very Melbourne summer, but an incredible atmosphere and a huge credit to the volunteers who made it all work.

This was our second parkrun PB Day for 2025, and Greenbank turned on a beautiful morning for the RJ crew. Everyone showed up ready to give it a go, encourage one another, and enjoy being out on the course together.
