Bridport Walking Track

Bridport Walking Track An 11 km circuit walk around the town of Bridport Tasmania. Check out www.bridportwalkingtrack.com for more info about the track & Bridport

The River–Forest walk was opened in July 2011. It is the culmination of a vision to complete the walking track circuit around Bridport. It links the foreshore, beaches, the wild flower reserve, grasslands, ancient forests and the Brid River creating a single accessible yet unique walking experience. Whether you complete the whole circuit, the River–Forest segment or just a small section, take time

to enjoy the beautiful and special micro-environments that are part of the walk. Bridport Innovations Incorporated successfully secured funding for the construction of the River–Forest walk from the Federal and State Government, Dorset Council and NRM, and NRM North. Bridport Innovations Incorporated contracted Conservation Volunteers Australia to manage the track construction as a training scheme.

Once again, the small committee would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for supporting the Tassie Scallop Fiesta in 2026.
We sincerely thank our sponsors: Woolnorth Renewables, Acen, Dorset Council, Salters, Hammond Seafoods, Flinders Island Aviation, Bass Strait Freight, Events Tasmania, VNT, Smeg, Russell & Suitor Wines, VJam, Bent Eared Records, The Examiner, The Advocate, Bridport Innovations. Without this sponsorship and collaboration Fiesta does not happen.
💥👉❤Thank you also goes to all our hard-working volunteers. They help out behind the scenes, on the day and after Fiesta. Without this small, dedicated Fiesta group of people there will not be a Tassie Scallop Fiesta. If you would like to be part of the team next year please drop us a line. [email protected]

Thank you to all those who helped with the Fringe events for this year's Fiesta, Buccaneers' Banquet dinner, The Bay Inn, St Marks, Karen of the Bridport Dance studio and the students.
Thanks also go to the food and beverage vendors and entertainers and exhibitors for the Fiesta day.
