Celebrating Summa’s success at Qld School Aged Championships in Brisbane yesterday!

Lifting 6/6 good lifts, and smashing her previous comp PBs

Finishing with 41kg Sn**ch/53kg CJ/94kg Total. (+4kg pb)
Also winning the BRONZE medal in F63 U15yrs category. 🥉

Sure hadn’t been a smooth lead up to her first comp for 2026, but yesterdays result is proof of Summa’s super toughness 🙌

A huge thankyou to Summa’s support crew; sister Kylie took over coaching duty for me at the last minute and did an awesome job. And mum Kari for always being her girls (and Saints) biggest supporter. I’m so grateful and very proud!

Congratulations to Saints lifter Summa on being awarded the Miles & District Australia Day Junior Sports Award!

Summa has achieved so much in so many sports, and it’s so great to see her efforts recognised this Australia Day. Looking forward to celebrating with all award winners on Jan 26th 🎉

I’m a very proud coach, and I think the excitement of this helped me get through the 5+ hr drive home this afternoon.

A big thankyou to Summa for turning up and working hard each week and to her family for their continued support of their daughters in weightlifting and our club. It’s days like this that make it so so worth it!

A very exciting weekend ahead as Saints lifter Summa (14yrs) competes tomorrow morning in the Australian Youth/U15yrs Weightlifting Championships at Bribie Island.

Please wish her all the very best! 💪🏋️‍♀️

Summa is the youngest in a family of 4 girls who I have all coached in weightlifting throughout the past 10 years to Nationals level.

It makes me very proud to have played a role in these girls growing up into strong, confident young women ❤️

Coached by big sister and Saints All Star Kylie, the Salisbury team did Saints very proud.
