Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Club Dinner and helped celebrate another fantastic season.

These awards recognise excellence across all areas of club life and reflect the dedication, service and commitment of our members throughout the 2025/26 season.

Celebrating the Wonderful Bribie SLSC Members during National Volunteer week!

THANK YOU to every single member who volunteered their time, energy and passion this season ❤️💛

In the 2025-26 season, BISLSC members contributed an incredible amount of volunteer time including -

⚡ 7080 voluntary patrol hours completed at Woorim Beach

⚡ 780 water safety hours

⚡ An average of 60 voluntary patrol hours per active member

⚡ 23 members completed more than 90 patrol hours for the season.

Because of our volunteers and their support crews, our beach is safer, our members are supported and our community continues to thrive.

We appreciate you all more than words can say. ❤️💛

PS the life of a volunteer is never over, so while the patrolling season has finished the IRB season has commenced. This weekend 23-24 May, Rd 2 of the Ocean Roar IRB competition is on at Bribie. Please come along to lend a hand or cheer on the team. Racing starts at 8am sharp but set up starts at 6am🌟

Another big weekend around the club - Nipper Fun Day & presentations, plus recognising the incredible contribution of women in lifesaving as we mark 🩷International Women’s Day (8 March) together.

➡️This Sunday’s PM patrol will acknowledge the many contributions women - past and present - make in lifesaving. Everyone is welcome, but we especially encourage the women of the club to come down and be part of the patrol as we recognise and celebrate the women in our surf lifesaving community. ❤️💛

➡️IRB Training - Sunday 7.00am. This is open to all members interested in competing this season. If you’re keen to get involved, come down and give it a go.
