Thrive Women's Fitness Studio

Thrive Women's Fitness Studio Private women's only fitness studio helping women 40+ navigate their health & fitness I understand the every day struggles of women .. I am a wife and mum.

balancing work, family and kids. Taxiing kids from one end of the earth to the other, keeping up with the seemingly endless washing pile and finding some time for yourself! I also have the same insecurities and the same health & fitness goals. To feel good and look good with minimum effort, maximum balance and the odd glass of bubbles or two! Most importantly, my belief is that your health & fitness goals should be about finding the balance and moderation that works for you. I am still working on this and who knows, maybe one day I will find that balance. Your fitness goals should be about YOU! And your health & fitness is as important to me as it is to you! I am a qualified and registered Personal Trainer, runner, aspiring yogi and love hanging out in the kitchen and with my family. I am not a doctor, medical specialist, nutritionist or dietician but I can help you lose weight, have more energy, look great and feel great. We will discuss all aspects of your diet and exercise to ensure that you are doing the right things to be the best version of you that you can be! I am a qualified and registered Fitness Professional in Australia. I work as a Personal Trainer and I am passionate about nutrition, health and fitness and believe that it should play a part in everyone's lives. You will always have my support, guidance and a kick in the butt if you need it! I am committed to ensuring that you and your goals are as individual as you are. My qualifications ...

Bachelor of Commerce ( Accounting & OB&HRM )
Cert III & IV in Fitness
First Aid & CPR
Punchfit Trainer
Children's Trainer
Level 1 Kettlebell Trainer
TRX Suspension Trainer

What I will recommend is that you seek your own professional ( ie doctor, physio, dietician ) or medical advice before you embark on any new diet or exercise program .. even if it is guaranteed to change your life!

Today holds two things at once, it's the "To Breathe" theme of Women's Health Week, focused on mental wellbeing and it's also R U OK? Day, the national day for checking in on the people around us.

So I am going to do the thing the day is asking and check in on you. How are you, actually? Not the answer you give while you're half out the door, the honest one.

Motherhood has a way of filling every hour so completely that your own mental wellbeing becomes the thing you look at last, if at all. You can be holding everything together for everyone else and be far from okay underneath it and both of those can be true at the same time.

If today you realise the honest answer is that you're not doing so well, please treat that as information worth acting on, not something to push down and keep carrying.

Talk to someone you trust, your GP, a partner, a friend who gets it. You're allowed to be the one who needs the check in, not only the one who does the checking.

If you're doing okay, this is your nudge to ask someone else the question today and to really listen to the answer.

This is a sensitive one, so I am asking you to be kind to yourself. If today is hard for you and you would rather reach out privately, my door is open.

Women's Health Week 2026

Do it anyway is going to be my favourite thing about this whole week. Here in studio a primary goal is progress, not perfection!

Give yourself some flexibility while still making movement a regular part of your week. That could be a ten minute session, a walk or two short strength workouts when you can fit them in.

This is can allow you to maintain consistency!

This week is Women's Health Week and this year's theme is three words I want every woman reading this to hold onto:

DO IT ANYWAY.

It's about taking the small step toward your health even when the day is full, when you're tired and when the conditions are nowhere near perfect. It's the walk you almost talked yourself out of, the glass of water, the ten minutes that you didn't think were worth it, you do it anyway and it adds up.

Today's focus in the campaign is on how you fuel yourself and as a woman this one runs deep, because so many women spend the day making sure everyone else has eaten and reach the evening running on not much at all.

When you’re busy looking after everyone else, it’s easy to forget about feeding yourself properly. But you need food and energy too, especially on the days when there’s a lot going on.

We're following the week's themes day by day, moving through fuelling, movement, rest, mental wellbeing and connection.

We had so much fun tonight at our Spring Dance 💃🌸🌻💃

Dancing with Ali | Brisbane Dance classes led us through all dances even though we may not have looked quite as professional as her 😉

It was absolutely a super sweaty workout and the perfect way to finish off our week 💃
I am pretty sure I smiled the whole time 😁
Thank you Ali & thank you to the girls who joined us 🥰 and to our 📸 Ana - Pre and Postnatal Trainer North Brisbane

Happy Monday! What's your workout plan for the week?

I know things don't always go to plan but when you are training with us there are options.

We can modify exercises if you need and work with you to ensure that you feel comfortable doing your workout ( not too comfortable though! ) and not too far out of your depth
We make sure that your technique is on point so that your workout is the best it can be to reach your health & fitness goals.

And, we have a range of session times & types so you can change your workout up each week depending on your schedule

Check out our current timetable .. which sessions would work for you this week?
