Last Saturday we headed over to Gunnedah MCC for the 100 year centenary/ Week of Speed / Railway cup.

Blake was entered in both the junior combined and junior 250. He rode both the husky and Yamaha but neither bike seemed to be able to match the speed of the other bikes down the straight. Despite this he was able to walk away with 4th in both classes.

I was in the 19s and womens open. I was able to win the first round of the women’s but sadly in the second when I tried to make a move for first I came down, I tried to race in the third round of this but I couldn’t. In the 19s I came third in the only heat I was able to do. A speedy recovery to Emylie.

Massive thanks to the club and all the volunteers for such a great day/night, the competitors, Red Hot Roo, Adventure Powersports & Outdoor and dad for all he does for us.

👉 WOMEN IN FOCUS!

This 17 year old weapon left 2023 with an array of awards and we're ready to showcase them! Let's take a look at: Molly Fairey!

Molly dominated a tonne of her discplines over the past year or so; walking away with 1st in the Pro 250 and 2nd in the Women's Open at Gunnedah MCC. She also grabbed the 2nd in the Open Women NSW Dirt Track Championship, alongside nabbing the Most Improved Senior Rider at her local club in her FIRST year. 😳

With all of these wins on her mantle, you won't be surprised to hear that this is just the beginning! Molly is planning for a huge year competing across the board in literally any dirt or flat track event such as Bathurst Long Track Masters, Aussie Flat Track Nationals, State and Australian titles and club events.

Molly's deam is to head over to the US or anywhere overseas to race, and to make sure she can get that last checkered flag lap in after a solid win. She even notes that while her smaller stature, measuring in at only 156cm, means she still needs to use start blocks to get going - it won't stop her from racing up against the 'big wigs'.

So, with confidence like that - why wouldn't you head over to chuck Molly a follow here: Racing

Finishing his season off at Aussie Flat Track Nationals round 5 & 6 Blake competing in Junior Lites class.
Saturday he quite well qualifying 5th, coming 4th for the day. His first round was good with a 4th and ver the line, second race was probably his worst with a 10th after just missing a pretty bad pile up. A speedy recovery to all the riders involved. In the third race he crossed the finish line 6th and in the last race for the day 4th.
Sunday was the TT circuit and Blake started the day in practice quite bad with a crash in the first lap but picked in up for a 7th overall finish. The first and third race he received 7th with a 6th in the second race and a 9th in the last one.
A massive thanks to Mum and Dad for taking him, our brothers for coming over to watch and support him, everyone who supports him, the officials and all the volunteers, the photographers that sat out in the hot sun, Red Hot Roo, and Gunnedah MCC for all their support this year.

What an amazing end to the 2023 season with the round 5 & 6 of the Aussie Flat Track Nationals.
Round 5 was the only round for the women. I started the day pretty ordinarily in qualifying where I qualified 3rd out of 4 riders. I picked up my lap times when I got in race mode for the first race coming 1st and taking half a second off my qualifying time. I kept up this pace winning the second race and coming 2nd in the 3rd and final race for the day. This meant I won the overall and the Bunda Fine Jewels diamond earrings.
A massive thanks to Emma Scott, Katarna from K.M.E Racing and Brittaney O’Brien for the competition.
Sunday was round 6 but without the women’s class I raced in the clubman open class, which I have ridden in all the other rounds. I couldn’t keep my pace that I had on Saturday finishing last in that class and finishing 8th in the overall series.
Also thank to all the officers, volunteers and everyone else who helped the day run smoothly, all my sponsors, Red Hot Roo, Adventure Powersports & Outdoor - Kempsey and Mum and Dad for bringing me over, all my brothers for their support and for coming to watch, Gunnedah MCC for their support throughout the year and for holding the event and everyone else who supports me.

Better late than never.
The last weekend of July we traveled to Coffs Harbour for the NSW senior track titles. Only I raced as Blake decided he wanted to help out in the pits. I was only entered in the womens class. Saturday was a good day coming third, second and sixth after a small slide out on the last corner last lap 😤.
Sunday on the other hand wasn’t so good. The first race I was involved in a first corner incident where I was sent down. I participated in the re run after clearance from the track medics. I decided that I would pull out of the last race after dad and I had a conversation and I explained my head was sore and I couldn’t remember much.
A massive thanks to Dad and Blake for helping me, Red Hot Roo, Adventure Powersports & Outdoor for helping out and putting on a fantastic meeting, Emma Scott who was calling all Saturday with the race advice, all the ladies for the competition all the officials, Gunnedah MCC for there support and everyone who called after to check up on me.

The first weekend of June was a very eventful one with the 2023 NSW senior dirt track championships held at our local club Gunnedah MCC.
Blake entered 2 junior support classes and had some strong battles with 3 other boys, their sportsmanship was recognized by so many people watching and even got a mention at presentation. He was able to receive 3rd in both classes.
I was entered in 2 classes which were Pro 250 and Pro Open Women. I didn’t go to well in the Pro 250 class and got last place. The women’s class on the other hand, I raced probably the best I have ever getting 2nd overall.
We would like to thank Dad for taking us, the riders for the competition, Red Hot Roo, Adventure Powersports & Outdoor - Kempsey, GMCC and everyone else that helps the weekend run so smoothly.

Over the weekend we made the trip to Gunnedah MCC for club day 3.
Blake rode both the 200-250 cc 13-u16 years and combined classes alternating between the husky 250 and Yamaha 250. He placed 2nd in both after some battles with mates Nate and Jaiden. Overall he had a great day.
I raced c grade, Pro 250 and Women’s where I placed 3rd in the Pro 250 amd 2nd in the women’s. It was my 2nd race meeting on the 450 and I had my first crash on it (I didn’t get injured). Overall it was a great day and a massive thanks to dad for straightening the bike up.
We would like to thank take for taking us and all the bike prep on the day and leading up, Red Hot, Adventure Powersports & Outdoor - Kempsey, everyone for the competition, all the officials, Nic Pic Nsw for these amazing photos and everyone that helps out.

2023 Bathurst Long Track Masters were over the weekend. We had never raced this event and we both like it was a good event and would probably go back in the years to come.
Blake had some struggles with the speed of the track but improved throughout the day. He got about 20th overall in the junior 250 class which is an amazing achievement as the event is such a major one.
It was my first major senior event and I feel as I went pretty good. I got 8th in the womens class on a 250 when most others were on 450s. It was good to get a full grid of women and there were more that missed out.
We would like to thank Adventure Powersports & Outdoor - Kempsey for the help, Gunnedah MCC for there support, Red Hot Roo and dad for taking us. A speedy recovery to all the fallen riders especially Anthony and Jordan Dall. A massive thanks to Pic NSW for the amazing photos.

The first race of the year was definitely a great start. We headed over the Gunnedah MCC for their first club day and overall it was a success.
Blake raced both the 200-250 junior and 100-150/200-250 junior classes and won 6/6 coming home with the win in both.
I (Molly) definitely surprised myself in my first senior event coming home with 2nd in both the Pro 250 and women’s classes. Also a speedy recovery to Sam after her crash in the first women’s race.
We would like to thank Mum and Dad for taking us, everyone that helps out, Adventure Powersports & Outdoor - Kempsey, Nic Pic NSW for the awesome photos all the flaggies, officials, canteen ladies and scorers
