As we wrap up our Junior Domestic Competition for 2025 this Saturday, let’s spread a little holiday cheer to the people in green, black and stripes... our referees!

They’ve worked huge hours in the lead up to holidays and are just as ready for the holidays as the rest of us 🎅✨

So this weekend, please bring your patience, kindness and Christmas spirit.
A simple “thanks ref!” can be the best gift of all 🎁

The Seddon Village Fun & Games Fair is all about bringing together and celebrating our community.

Which is why you'll enjoy stalls and activities from local community groups including Footscray Historical Society, Westgate Basketball Association, Footscray Rangers Football Club, Footscray Trugo Club, CWA Footscray, Women's Circus and Reaching Out In The Inner West Of Melbourne

All funds raised from our raffle will be donated to Reaching Out in the Inner West of Melbourne to support people experiencing homelessness or in need.

Winter Open Age Grand Finals Wrap-Up.

What a fantastic night for our Open Age competition, with so many close games and big smiles all round! 🙌

It’s been awesome to see this competition continue to grow. The competition provides a fun, social and competitive way to enjoy basketball on a Sunday night.

Our Summer Season is now full, but we’re hoping to expand if we can secure more court space.

New Venue for Junior Domestic games!

This Saturday we’re excited to be playing at the brand new Kensington Community Aquatic and Recreation Centre (KCARC)! 🏀🎉

📍 Please plan ahead. The centre does not have a dedicated car park, so on-street parking can be limited, especially during peak times.
✅ Allow extra time to find a park
✅ Carpool with a friend
✅ If you live nearby, consider walking or riding your bike 🚶‍♀️🚴

A range of 1P to 4P parking is available on local streets such as Kensington Road, Altona Street and Childers Street. (Remember to always check parking signs when you park!) 🚗

It’s been fantastic watching our littlest hoopers enjoy the game, make friends, and take their first steps on the basketball court. We can’t wait to see this bunch keep growing through many more seasons ahead.

Our U8s competition runs every Friday afternoon. It’s all about fun, learning the basics, and building confidence. With referees who explain the rules as they call the game, it’s the perfect way for little ones to get started.
