It’s that time of year again! Our Annual General Meeting is on tomorrow night.

🏏BOYUP BROOK TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT 🏏

Big one to finish the season as we take on Bridgetown, who are chasing top spot but the boys from Boyup have other ideas.

🕛 Start time: 12:30pm

🎶 Country Music Festival weekend come down, enjoy the tunes, the cricket and what should be a cracking atmosphere.

Early odds are on Tristan Mead launching one into a nearby caravan… spectators park at your own risk.

Outs
Isaac Wedderburn – pulled up a bit sore. Ice bath and a quiet weekend.

Kallan Buttel – unavailable. Prefers playing juniors where he can throw his weight around.
Arjun Reddy – the mysterious spinner is busy cooking up a storm at BP.

Rory Miller – big loss. After plenty of miles driving back from Northcliffe, he’s been given a rest.

Mitch Hallett – omitted. Selection panel still searching for a front arm in both bowling and fielding.

Kyren Lintott – back up north, sitting like a turtle on a log and soaking up the sun.

Ins
Tristan Mead – the veteran returns. Loves a Country Music round mostly for caravan spotting beyond the boundary.

Alex Tweedie – just 3 runs short of 3000 club runs. No pressure, Tweeds.

Jacob Maw – funny how we didn’t miss him last week… just sneaks back into the side.

Francois Rabe – suffers from away sickness, so a home game means he’s available.

Should be a great day of cricket, country music and community.

One Day Match
Boyup Brook CC def. Northcliffe CC by 5 wickets

Boyup Brook produced a strong all-round performance to chase down Northcliffe’s total and claim a five-wicket win in a well-contested one-day fixture.

After being sent in, Northcliffe posted 9/207. Boyups bowlers worked hard on a good batting surface, with Ridley (3/35) the pick of the attack, well supported by Rory Miller (2/29) and Benjamin Wedderburn (2/28). Sharp fielding also played a role, with Josh Miller contributing two catches, while Declan Holland and Kallan Buttel each held one.

In reply, Boyup Brook showed composure throughout the chase to finish on 5/209. The innings was built around a match-winning knock from Braydon Ridley, who backed up his bowling performance with a superb 101 (89 balls, 12 fours, 2 sixes), steering the side home with authority. Kallan Buttel (45 off 36) provided crucial momentum in the middle order, while handy contributions from Josh Miller (11) and Tyler Geers (14) helped keep the chase on track. Scott Tweedie (3) was there at the end to see the job done.

Overall, it was a complete performance from Boyup Brook, highlighted by a captain’s all-round display from Ridley and strong support across batting, bowling, and fielding to secure a deserved victory.
